Metallica are back in our living rooms. Once again, the four horsemen — James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich and Robert Trujillo — have come out with a new live stream edition of Metallica Mondays, and this latest installment showcases their 2019 concert from Manchester, England. The metal band have been entertaining millions of their fans who are staying indoors during the latter stages of this coronavirus lockdown with a series of on-demand live stream concerts on their Facebook and Youtube pages.

For the latest Metallica Monday, the hard rockers are featuring a special 2019 performance from the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, home of the premiership football team Manchester City. The region of England is pretty notorious for its torrential weather, but Metallica soldiered on for the gig through what was later described by fans as a rainstorm of biblical proportions.

"Can't wait to see the stage, band and crowd get absolutely drenched by the pouring rain," said one eager fan who still remembered the day fondly. Another diehard fan said, "Phenomenal how they played through a biblical storm and didn’t miss a note, Metallica were on fire that night so privileged to have been there. Metallica are my boys I’ve seen them 23 times and this was second only to Master of puppets being played in its entirety at Castle Donnington in my opinion." As another viewer eloquently put it, "Rain in England: I'm the heaviest thing you've ever seen. Metallica: hold our beers."

Here's the setlist for the 2019 Manchester show

'Hardwired'
'The Memory Remains' (with extended outro)
'Disposable Heroes'
'The God That Failed'
'The Unforgiven'
'Here Comes Revenge'
'Moth Into Flame'
'Sad but True'
'Welcome Home' (Sanitarium followed by Kirk & Rob's solos including 'I Wanna Be Adored', 'ManUNkind' & 'Orion')
'St Anger'
'One'
'Master of Puppets'
'For Whom the Bell Tolls'
'Creeping Death'
'Seek & Destroy'
Encore
'Lords of Summer'
'Nothing Else Matters'
'Enter Sandman' (with 'The Frayed Ends of Sanity' outro)

As usual, this weekly concert series also acts as a timely fundraiser, with all proceeds donated during the show going towards Covid-19 relief care. Metallica had made their intentions clear with this message on their official website: "While streaming is free, we will be hosting simultaneous fundraisers on each platform benefiting All Within My Hands. Your donation will help address food insecurities and medical supply shortages during the current Covid-19 crisis as AWMH is working with partners at Feeding America and Direct Relief." So if you can afford to help out, please donate generously because it's all for a worthy cause.

Make sure you stay tuned for more Metallica action in the coming weeks on their social media pages.
