The metal titans Metallica announced that they will be live-streaming their 2017 concert from Paris for free on March 30 night starting from 8 pm EDT. The band is currently live streaming notable editions of their previous live gigs as part of an effort called Metallica Mondays. It's a timely music treat aimed to keep their fans entertained while they are being cooped up indoors and self-isolating due to the restrictions imposed worldwide because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The band announced the initiative on March 23 by releasing a statement on their official website and social media pages that read: "While we're all doing our part and staying home, we find ourselves missing live music, so how about we dive back into a few of our favorite shows at a socially responsible distance? Let’s stay connected and virtually visit a few of our favorite places in the world together as we bring a series of live Metallica shows right to your couch!"

The band then kicked things off by streaming their June 8, 2019, concert from Ireland, called Metallica: Live at Slane Castle, last week.

On March 30, the band announced the next gig in their lineup by announcing the follow-up concert on their social media page. "We're taking things indoors for tonight's edition of #MetallicaMondays! Tune in for free at 8 PM EDT to catch a show from the European WorldWired Arena Tour, Metallica: Live in Paris — September 8, 2017. The complete show will stream on YouTube or Facebook — subscribe to our channel for alerts as streaming begins! #StayHome"

You can check out the 2017 Paris concert right now by checking out Metallica's Facebook or Youtube pages. The concert stream has already begun and will continue to stream on demand for the entire week, in case you missed out on a few songs. Besides keeping their fans happy while they are stuck at home, this live stream is also serving a worthy charitable cause. The band revealed that they will be hosting fundraisers during the gig live streams in order to benefit the charity All Within My Hands.

According to Metallica's official page, "Your donation will help address food insecurities and medical supply shortages during the current COVID-19 crisis as AWMH is working with partners at Feeding America and Direct Relief." So make sure you tune in every Monday to catch a live Metallica concert, and donate if you can as well. It's all for a good cause. You can subscribe to Metallica's YouTube channel to make sure you don't miss the next few concerts that will air every Monday.
