'They are considering new housewives': Meredith Marks supports Bravo's decision on ‘RHOSLC’ shakeup
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Meredith Marks has come in support of Bravo’s decision to stir up things and bring in fresh cast members for ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.’ Talking during the Sundance Film Festival on Friday, January 20, the reality star said, it is time ‘RHOSLC’ gets people who can ‘lighten up things.’ “I think we need people who are going to help bridge the gap. Obviously, we’re very divided right now. That’s a problem,” Marks said. She mildly referred to the fact that none of her co-stars from the show attended her exclusive cocktail party, “It’s obviously really hard to have events and do things when we’re not getting along.”
“They held auditions in the fall,” one participant told PageSix. “They were looking to replace three of them. They hadn’t decided if some of the ‘friends of’ would be promoted or if they’d find new talent.” The other source added, “It’s true that they are considering new Housewives.” Marks further said on Friday, “So hopefully we have some people who can come in, lighten the mood and bridge the gap.” She didn’t comment on her co-cast member Jen Shah’s conviction, but addressed that the entire cast had ‘a lot of really heavy issues.’ “It’s coincidence that it just sort of all unfolded together, and it’s just a lot. It’s very heavy, and sometimes life is heavy", the 51-year-old said.

Is Meredith Marks angry with 'RHOSLC' co-star Jen Shah over a man? Here's the TRUTH
Jen Shah was recently sentenced for her nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme that targeted elderly people, while she appeared on the show on Bravo on March 30, 2021. While she was accused, the 49-year-old star continued to be part of ‘RHOSLC’ and claimed she was ‘innocent.’ Ultimately in her trial, which began in July, she was found guilty by the court and was sentenced to 6 ½ years in prison. Her legal representative in a statement said, “Jen Shah deeply regrets the mistakes that she has made and is profoundly sorry to the people she has hurt.” It also said, “Jen has faith in our justice system, understands that anyone who breaks the law will be punished, and accepts this sentence as just.”
On Thursday, January 19, Shah announced via her Instagram account, “I will not be doing the 1:1 with Andy Cohen and Bravo because of their unwillingness to remove contractual provisions that would allow the network to legally make misrepresentations of me and my story.” As per reports, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, and Whitney Rose will feature in the following season of ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.’
