Megyn Kelly lashes out at 'woke victim' Meghan Markle days after slamming her over 'blood diamond’ earrings
Megyn Kelly is still rolling her eyes at Meghan Markle's explosive claims against the British royal family in her interview with Oprah Winfrey. In a chat with talkRADIO, Kelly's first response against the comments and revelations that were made on the CBS special was: "Get a grip." She also revealed that US conservatives had turned their back against the Sussexes for their "woke victimization culture."
Speaking to TalkRADIO host Mark Dolan about the regular American citizen's opinion of the royal family and Harry and Meghan, and who the public would side with, Kelly said, "You can be a princess, you can live in a palace, you can have access to the Crown Jewels and still find yourself a victim. You can cry over the flower girls' dresses." She continued, "Would you get a grip on how actual people live and what actually matters in life?"

Kelly also branded Markle an "opportunist" during the chat and added that the interview will surely lead to a successful media presence for her and Harry. "And Harry and Meghan will have a very successful PR career here with Netflix and podcasts, all by claiming we should feel sorry for them," she said before adding, "Meghan Markle is an opportunist." Kelly didn't stop her rant at that and calling the Duchess out further she said, "She's somebody who tries to play the sympathy card and has even in the past."
Earlier this week, Megyn in a chat with ITV's 'Good Morning Britain' had gone after Markle, claiming that the Duchess had "covered herself in blood diamonds" even though claiming she wasn't attached to the "grandeur" that came with being a senior royal. "She (Meghan) goes onto say, I don't believe in any of the grandeur. There's an article already up on the New York Post here in the States that's saying this is the person who had Clooney and Oprah at her wedding even though she didn't even know them, and then covered herself in blood diamonds from a Saudi Prince, so like, spare us that you're not into any of the grandeur," Kelly stated.
Markle was criticized for wearing diamond earrings gifted to her by Saudi's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman while speaking up for human rights in Saudi Arabia. A Daily Mail article states she was photographed wearing these earrings within a three-week span after Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi's assassination that was allegedly approved by the Saudi prince. At the time, Markle responded saying she was "unaware" of the outrage surrounding the crown prince and his connection to the murder.
Kelly had also lashed out at the couple for complaining that they weren't provided security cover and had to shell out their own resources to ensure safety for themselves and their son Archie. "Harry is saying, ‘All I had was my mother’s inheritance,’ so I looked that up, it's about $15-16million,” Kelly stated. “So you’re telling the American public, the British public right now, we’re supposed to feel sorry for you because you had to find a way to pay for your own security when you haven’t had to pay for a dime of your own life so far?" Kelly said while also adding that the "British taxpayers have paid for everything.”
