As sources and insiders are coming forward with claims busting those made by Meghan Markle on the bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview, Internet trolls are now targeting the former royal with snide remarks on her outfit worn in the CBS two-hour special.

The former Duchess of Sussex wore a $4,700 silk Giorgio Armani dress as she spoke to Oprah about the harrowing experience she went through during her time living with the royal family. But as soon as the interview aired in the UK, a day after its original US air time, social media exploded with users poking fun at her dress, comparing its white on black flower pattern to a seagull defecating all over it.

Being the strange place that the Internet is, users actually took things to a whole other level by creating a distasteful prank video of how the dress supposedly came to be. Titled 'Moments before Meghan's interview', the video uses clips from the actual program and shows the duchess seated in her black dress opposite Oprah. Soon as the talk to host compliments her in the doctored video, a seagull can be seen taking a foul swoop on the former actress. The video was posted on YouTube by the account Delboy and immediately after the seagull incident, cuts to show a shocked expression from Oprah, almost as if surprised at the mess created and Meghan's eye almost brimming with tears. It then cuts back and forth between a poised Meghan and a shocked Oprah before the 20-second clip ends.

The prank was one of the many jabs social media made about the triple silk georgette dress Meghan wore in the interview. Users took to Twitter to remark "Mad that Oprah hasn't told Meghan that a seagull has absolutely gone to town all over on of her shoulders. Can't tell if that's super professional or just rude." Another joked "Umm... that look is so unfortunate. It looks like a seagull has taken a massive dump on Meghan's dress." Australian Podcaster Xavier Ellis also wrote: "Someone needs to tell Meghan a segull may have s*** on her shoulder." Others joked: "Breaking news: Racist white seagulls dive-bomb Meghan!" and "Seagull Craps On #Meghan While She Craps On."

Meghan was seen accessorizing her black dress with a pair of blue topaz earrings by Canadian brand Bijoux Birks, a wax jacket, and a pair of wellies during other bits from her interview with Oprah. Daily Mail Online reports that celebrity stylists believe she wore her hair in a woven bun to symbolize 'women warriors of history,' and 'tactically tied it up' just so she didn't have to 'push it back and seem nervous'.

The explosive interview saw Meghan and her husband Harry make serious claims about 'racism' and the hostility they faced in the UK and in the royal family. Meghan claimed ahead of her son Archie's birth, there had been concerns within the family surrounding how dark his skin color would be. She chose to not take names as it would be damaging to the family, but Harry insisted his grandmother the Queen and her husband Prince Phillip were not the ones responsible. In their statement, the Royal family revealed they will be discussing the matter privately.

Not everyone was amused by the distasteful video as many pointed out: "Really y’all? Bullying a pregnant woman? You shouldn’t be bullying anybody, Periodt! Just drop u trolls." Another slammed the trolls saying: "Is there never a end of mocking anyone wearing what looked absolutely lovely on this expecting young mother. Stop the hate and get a Life."
