'Dance, b***h!' Shattered Megan Thee Stallion reveals Tory Lanez' sick words as he shot her in the foot
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megan Thee Stallion testified in court on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, against Tory Lanez, who is accused of shooting the American rapper in the foot in July 2020. Dressed in a bright purple suit, the 27-year-old rapper entered the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles while smiling at a group of cheering fans who had been waiting in the hallway to see her.
Meanwhile, Lanez entered the building shortly while holding the hand of his young son. Megan was called to the witness stand during the trial which originates from a 2020 incident where Lanez yelled "Dance, bitch!" and shot Megan three times in the foot. Megan reportedly had a friendly relationship with Lanez prior to the incident and had allegedly gotten into an argument in the car while leaving a Hollywood Hills party thrown by Kylie Jenner. Her former friend Kelsey Nicole was also in the vehicle.

"I just don't feel good," the 27-year-old said in her cracking voice after the court asked her if she was nervous, according to Rolling Stone. "I can't believe I have to come up here and do this," she added. The Grammy-winning rapper recounted her personal relationships with both Lanez, 30, and Nicole, and said that she and Lanez began arguing after she wanted to leave Jenner's house and he didn't. However, Megan needed Lanez to give her a ride after her stylist had left the party.

According to Megan, Lanez then argued with both her and with Nicole as they left in the car, and called them "bitches" and other expletives. Megan then tried to get out of the car while it was on the main street but when she realized that she did not know the area, she got back inside the car, citing her celebrity status. Lanez then shot her while she was facing the car as he stood above her on one of the SUV's steps.

Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, teared up a lot during the second half of the trial and she said she was having a hard time having to sit across from Tory Lanez. She insisted again that it was Lanez who shot her and not Kelsey Nicole. She also added that speaking up against Lanez has put a target on her back in a male-dominated rap industry. "I wish he would've just killed me if I knew I'd have to go through this", Megan said, according to TMZ.
According to Buzzfeed News, in their opening statements on Monday, December 12, prosecutors said that the firing left three bullet fragments in Megan's feet and that the argument between both artists began after Megan criticized his "musical skills". Texts from Lanez to Megan in which he apologized and said he "genuinely just got too drunk" but "can't change what I did" were reportedly read in court. However, Lanez's defense attorneys claimed he was not admitting to firing the shots, but to being sexually involved with both Megan and Kelsey Nicole.
The Shade Room posted a video of Lanez when he was spotted leaving the court after Megan's testimony on its Instagram page. Several Instagram users lashed out at Lanez in the comment section of the post. One commented, "Using his child for sympathy," while another added, "Why bring a child in that environment if they don't need to be." One user poked fun at the Canadian rapper by commenting, "Same Size!!"
Another said, "How much time is he facing? And when is he going to jail lawd!?" One user commented, "Bringing your child to this trial is not a good look to the jury. Especially giving the fact that he’s school age and they know you’re pulling him from school to be there and he’s never been with you before."
