'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 5, titled 'Iris', focused heavily on Iris and her willingness to go to any lengths for Mike.

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 5, Iris encountered Konstantin at a club, and his expression lit up with evident pleasure upon seeing her, hinting at their shared history in New York.

However, Mike had voiced confusion regarding Iris's role in Konstantin's activities. Iris explained that her association with Konstantin was a strategic move aimed at safeguarding Mike. She justified her actions by emphasizing that pretending to be with Konstantin could allow her to gather crucial information and maintain a protective facade around Mike.

Later on, Ian suggested that Iris wear a wire to gather evidence covertly. However, Iris refused the idea, expressing deep concern that Konstantin would quickly detect the wire, leading to immediate danger and potential death for her. Despite her fear of potential danger and the risk of being killed, Iris remained committed to taking action for Mike's sake.

Later, Mike provided Iris with a burner phone to ensure her safety. Iris even went as far as visiting Konstantin's private boat. During their encounter, Iris and Konstantin shared a drink and a kiss.

During the meeting at Konstantin's residence, Iris learned that the Aryan Brotherhood and Konstantin had formed an alliance to distribute drugs in Kingstown. Iris used the burner phone provided by Mike to discreetly pass this information to him.

Her actions showcased her intelligence, resourcefulness, and courage under pressure. Ian Ferguson (Hugh Dillon) even called her a soldier because of her courage and determination. Her willingness to take risks, confront enemies, and make sacrifices for Kingstown aligned her with Ian's description of a soldier.

Iris was aware of Konstantin's ruthlessness and willingness to kill anyone who betrayed him, a fact underscored by his actions towards Tatiana (Gratiela Brancusi). Konstantin killed Tatiana and dumped his body in a garbage bin.

In Episode 5, it became evident that Iris's primary concern lay with Mike, and she was willing to go to any lengths to support and protect him.

Ian's support for Iris proved pivotal in convincing Mike to include her in the sting operation, marking a significant turning point for her role in the series.

By earning Mike's approval, Iris gained a pivotal role in shaping future operations and alliances against Konstantin and Merle Callahan (Richard Brake).

Iris's revelations in 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3, Episode 5, regarding the collaboration between the Aryan Brotherhood and Konstantin in drug distribution, highlighted her adeptness as a spy.

Her ability to uncover critical intelligence that eluded Mike highlighted her effectiveness and resourcefulness in gathering vital information.

In the last few episodes, Mike was unaware of Konstantin's alliances. However, Iris's investigative efforts gave him this crucial information.

This makes Iris a valuable character in the series, yet it also exposes her to significant peril. Dealing with formidable figures like Konstantin and Merle, both known for their ruthless methods and willingness to eliminate threats, places Iris in constant danger.

Konstantin's heinous act of dumping Tatiana's infant in a dumpster underscores the depths of his cruelty and disregard for human life. This chilling incident serves as a stark reminder of Konstantin's capacity for extreme violence and ruthless behavior.

His willingness to commit such atrocities highlights the grave danger Iris faces, as her role in exposing his drug activities could make her a prime target for his retribution.

If Konstantin gets to know that Iris is betraying him and helping Mike, he may exploit her feelings for Mike. Konstantin might opt to capture Iris, holding her hostage to coerce Mike into complying with his demands.

Despite these dangers, Iris has unequivocally proven her worth in Episode 5.
