LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hilary Duff's husband, Matthew Koma bites the Twitter dust, after the star was allegedly banned from the platform for imperosnating Gwyneth Paltrow. Koma took a dig at Paltrow when he changed his username on Twitter to her name and responded to a meme about her skiing lawsuit that concluded last week.

The tweet featured a photo of Paltrow leaving court and reportedly offering her best wishes to plaintiff retire optometrist Terry Sanderson after their ski crash trial reading, "I'll take my dollar now," Matthew wrote underneath, "Same man." Even though Koma was showcasing his comical nature Twitter's misleading and deceptive identities policy states, "While you are not required to display your real name or image on your profile, your account should not engage in impersonation or pose as someone who doesn't exist in order to deceive others."

Who is Hilary duff's husband?

Duff's husband is a singer and music producer who also shares a knack for pranking celebrities on social media, finding himself in the midst of popular culture or controversies. Duff and Koma both 35, married in December 2019 and share two daughters, Banks, 4, and Mae, 2. Duff also has a son, Luca, 11, from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie. Following Koma's recent controversey, he posted screenshot of the app notifying him that his @MatthewKoma profile is "permanently suspended," on Instagram.

The 35-year-old's post read, "Goodbye Twitter. The troll was worth it." "Thanks for all the kind messages today," he added in an April 5 post, which showed a selfie of Matthew with a cartoon reading, "Gwyneth Fourever [sic] Sweet." The singer continued, "Closure's hard. But it's a community like you guys that keeps me positive and looking forward to the next time I find the opportunity to impersonate a celebrity on a social media platform." Matthew concluded his message giving a shoutout to the Goop founder, "Big thanks @gwynethpaltrow for the inspiration."

Hilary Duff gushes over Matthew Koma's pranking nature

Duff previosly gushed about her husbands hilarious pranks saying, "He's a really great prankster and, honestly, some of the posts on Instagram, if you don't follow him on Instagram, it's quite a laugh," The 'Perfect Man' star shared on the Kelly Clarkson Show in January. "Sometimes his stuff is so weird it goes over my head. I'm, like, ‘I didn't get that one,' and then the other ones I'm, like, ‘I'm dead. You're so funny,'" reported Yahoo.
