LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gwyneth Paltrow, who is not new to controversy over wellness tips, is once again being criticized by social media users for giving tips that are nothing less than controversial. The 'Shark Tank' guest judge recently shared her fitness tips in a podcast on Monday, March 13.

Paltrow, 50, revealed her outrageous daily wellness routine, prompting incredulous commentary from the Internet, "How about we go back to a balanced diet with a little bit of everything," users said.

'I’m an early IV adopter'

Talking about the IV in her arm, the ‘Emma’ actress said, “I’m really embarrassing myself right here.” Being a vocal supporter of IV, she continued, “I love an IV, I’m an early IV adopter,” before adding Glutathione and Phosphatidylcholine were two of her favorites. She also added about how they are difficult to find, “They’re quite hard to find, and those make me feel so good.”

On Dear Media's podcast 'The Art of Being Well,' the mother of two gave a detailed description of her wellness routine, sharing that she believes in intermittent fasting and eats something at lunch "that won't spike her blood sugar." The Oscar winner shares, "I love soup ... I have bone broth for a lot of the days," talking about her infamous meal.

Paltrow also spoke about her exercise routine as she divulged, “I try to do one hour of movement, so I’ll go for a walk or I’ll do pilates or I’ll do my Tracy Anderson [workouts].”

However, then comes one of the most controversial parts of her interview where she talks about ‘rectal ozone,' "I have used ozone therapy, rectally. Can I say that?” Even if she says, it has been beneficial, she realizes, it’s “weird,” “It's pretty weird. It's pretty weird, yeah. But it's been very helpful.”

Talking about the ‘ketone drinks’ the Marvel alum adds, “It helps with cognition and brain fog and energy. I have it with green tea in the afternoon. It tastes pretty, pretty bad.” “I believe that they are coming out with an improved flavor or an improved version, which is very exciting,” she sounds hopeful.

The Goop founder also admits sheepishly, the only time she didn't follow her strict diet was when she was pregnant with Apple, her first child, in 2003, as she said, “All I wanted was grilled cheese sandwiches and yogurt.”

Gwyneth Paltrow's other controversies

Paltrow was snubbed by the dermatologists in 2021 after her video with Vogue became viral. In the viral video she said that she applied sunscreen only in "the area where the sun really hits". She also admitted that she is "not a head to toe slatherer of sunscreen". Internet criticized her harshly for spreading misinformation as sunscreen is deemed to be essential with everyone recommended to use adequate sunscreen to protect the skin.

'Gwyneth Paltrow can have bone broth ... I’m having halloumi on toast'

"For someone who supposedly lives a very healthy life, you have not aged well. How about going back to a balanced diet with a little bit of everything. Think about the people you are harming with your looney views," writes one user. "It’s people like Gwyneth Paltrow who are perpetuating the myth that skinny = “well” with zero concern for impressionable young people’s mental health or body image. Sc**w you, Gwyneth". One user even made a cheeky comment, "Can’t stop thinking about a leafy version of gwyneth paltrow called spinach paltrow."

Paltrow's "bone broth" seemed to become a topic of discussion too with one person commenting, "Can someone tell Gwyneth Paltrow to eat? She’s looking like the Crypt Keeper. Bone broth is NOT food, chile." One user even asked, "What happened in Gwyneth Paltrow’s life that made her so afraid of food?" "Gwyneth Paltrow can have bone broth and rectal ozone therapy for lunch (yes, all true), I’m having halloumi on toast," joked one user.

However, there was one user who came in defense of her also, "Can we please stop attacking Gwyneth Paltrow’s body? Address her privilege or how out of touch she is with real people in the world, but please don’t body shame. Gross."
