SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: Season 4 of 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' will undergo a series of changes after the past controversies that have plagued the show. Since the minute 'RHOSLC' made its debut on TV in 2020, fans across the globe have not been able to get enough of the ongoing drama.

Of all the compelling characters, Mary Cosby, has perhaps been the most fascinating. And if talk on the street is to be believed, then she is ready to return to the franchise. Amidst the cast shake-up for Season 4, fans might get to see the familiar face of Cosby in a part-time role.

Is Mary Cosby returning to 'RHOSLC'?

Sources told Page Six that Cosy will be returning to the 'RHOSCL' franchise. They reportedly clarified that Cosby will not be cast as a full-time “housewife,” but will “film a few scenes” of Season 4 — which is set to continue production from February 13. Crosby will reportedly play the "friend of" role, a less time-consuming task. She will be cast Meredith Marks' friend. An Insider reportedly said that "Cosby wanted to come back," but after Jennie Nguyen’s racist controversy, Cosby needed some time to collect herself.

Nguyen was fired in January 2022 after just one season for a series of offensive social media posts that mocked the Black Lives Matter movement and protests in 2020.

Cosby started out as a quirky side character in Season 1 and evolved into a main controversial figure by Season 2. However, she was conspicuously absent from Season 3.

While the reason for her exit is unclear, no official statement has been given clarifying whether if she left or if she was fired. The word is that she did not want to face the backlash from the racist comments she made toward two co-stars Jennie Nguyen and Jen Shah, per Women's Health. The cast had accused her of racist behavior at various times during Season 2. Cosby has skipped the reunion and we all know what that means. Explaining her absence on a Twiiter chat, Cosby said, "The only thing I have to say about the reunion is I didn't go because it was one-sided. Everyone heard one side of what they felt... I mean, they told lies, one side of my story."

Where is Mary Cosby Now?

It is a well-known fact that Cosby married her step-grandfather, Robert,  to inherit the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in Salt Lake City. This was the most intriguing part of her storyline as her grandmother's will stated that to inherit the church she had to do this. However, the church is permanently closed now.

According to her Instagram, Cosby is busy pursuing various interests in addition to religion. Her bio states she is an entrepreneur, event specialist, philanthropist and a spiritual leader. She appears to be involved with Marimarta Perfumeria, an online boutique selling everything from clothing and accessories to handbags and perfume.
