SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: After attempting to get her fellow housewives onto spiritual and healing journey, 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' star Whitney Rose seems to be ready to get the world hooked onto it as well.
In her recent Instagram post, the reality star posted a brief clip of herself clad in satin robe and burning white sage, while asking her followers if they wanted to know her secret. In her caption, Whitney revealed about her new business venture revolving around "Spiritual Healing & Sparkle". The housewife wrote, "Iāve been working on something behind the scenes & Iām almost ready to give you a sneak peek. Whitney's post instantly grabbed everybody's attention. While some of her followers were excited to learn more about her upcoming new launch, others were taken aback by the housewife burning the sacred white sage in the video. A user commented on Whitney's post, "Pls tell me thatās not white sageā¦" Another user shared, "@whitneywildrose please educate yourself on the meaning of white sage! Itās a sacred medicine that should not be used for your own profit š¤¦š»āāļø."
White sage is regarded very highly amongst the indigenous cultures, where its burned for meditation, smudging and cleansing of spirit and dwelling. In some beliefs, white sage smoke is believed to provide a barrier that prevents negative spirits from entering the room in which the ceremony is being held. So, when Whitney's followers noticed that the housewife was burning white sage to promote her new "secret launch", it understandably didn't sit well with many.
Aside from taking offense at her burning the white sage, many followers were also confused with Whitney's bizarre promotional strategy of dressing up in lingerie to promote spiritual healing. A user joked, "Spiritual healing ? You are doing a lingerie ad herešµāš«." "Wild Rose Exorcisms," added another user. "Sex toys? Lubricants? šš," guessed another user based on Whitney's clip about her upcoming new secret launch.
The ongoing Season 3 of 'RHOSLC' features Whitney embarking on a spiritual journey to heal herself from all the traumas she endured, especially during her childhood.
