Former middleweight champion Marvin Hagler breathed his last on Saturday, March 13, his wife Kay Guarrera revealed. The reason behind the former boxer’s death has not been revealed. He was 66.
A post shared by Guarrera on the Facebook page stated, “I am sorry to make a very sad announcement. Today unfortunately my beloved husband Marvelous Marvin passed away unexpectedly at his home here in New Hampshire. Our family requests that you respect our privacy during this difficult time.” Hagler was one of the boxing greats and he held the middleweight champion title from 1980 to 1987. The New Jersey fighter was only knocked down once in his professional career. His net worth is believed to be close to a whopping $50million. The late boxing legend was widely known as “Marvelous Marvin Hagler.”

Who is Kay Guarrera?
Marvin first got married to Веrthа Наglеr in 1980, which lasted for a decade. They separated in 1990 and had fіvе сhіldrеn, namely Сhаrеllе, Јаmеѕ, Gеntrу, Сеlеѕtе and Маrvіn Јr. Marvin, who later also acted in movies, tied the knot with Kay Guarrera in 2000.
Though it is unclear how they first met, looks like they were head over heels in love and remained together until Marvin's death. Marvin, who hails from Pioltello, Italy, walked down the aisle with the love of his life in the same place as it seems he was very attached to his roots. The two shared a peaceful life in Milan as Marvin focused on his acting career post hanging up his boots in boxing. Following his retirement, Marvin acted in films like ‘Indio’ and ‘Indio 2’, ‘Brutal Bonanza’, ‘Geno's Plan’, ‘Lethal Lunch Date’, ‘Black Market Wedding’, and the video game ‘Fight Night: Round 3.’
Marvin and Kay seemed very much in love whenever they were spotted in public. He always made sure he made red carpet appearances with his wife and even after 21 years of wedlock, the love did not fade away.
