'Marvel's Runaways' rectified all the mistakes it had made in its previous seasons and made sure the third and final one was something worth remembering. After alien arcs were wrapped up, the show delved into dark magic and time travel. While the show seemed to end on a happily-ever-after note, there was a rather dark and ominous tinge to it, linking it to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The character of 'Victor Mancha' was mentioned twice, on two separate occasions. Die-hard Marvel fans know quite well what this means. Mancha is a crucial character to pay heed to, due to the deep-rooted connections he shares with the villain, Ultron. Thus, this leads to the Runaways to possibly play a role in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and make this Easter egg more intriguing.

According to the comics storyline, Victor Mancha is born after Marianella Mancha bargains with Ultron. She agrees to construct a new body for the android, in exchange for her son. Ultron uses Marianella's DNA to create a cyborg-hybrid, which is just like a biological human, named Victor. The child lives a normal life with the false memories planted in his head by Ultron, till he comes in contact with the powerful individual. After this, his programming begins to kick in and his electromagnetic abilities manifest themselves.

While Victor didn't actually appear in the third season of 'Marvel's Runaways', these references imply that some version of  Ultron had survived 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron', and later had a son. It seems as if the heroes were not able to demolish Stark's sadistic creation.

If Victor is really Ultron's son like in the comics, this means that the MCU could lead to his appearance in Phase 4, as well as Ultron's possible resurrection. You never know.

'Marvel's Runaways' is now streaming on Hulu.
