LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Marvel Phase 5 is gathering steam, story arcs are getting fleshed out for the upcoming 'Avengers: The Kang Dynasty'. So far, MCU has introduced several young avengers into play, including Kamala Khan in 'Ms Marvel' and Cassie Lang in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' as a lineup against the next big bad of the MCU. However, the young avengers won't be enough to face the all-mighty Kang, the conqueror. Though there are a few experienced avengers left, including Hulk, Sam Wilson's Captain America, and Black Panther Shuri, the Earth's Mightiest Heros would definitely need some reinforcements while facing Kang.

The situation would call for all hands on deck and that would also include the recently introduced character from 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', the king of Tlālōcān. Tenoch Huerta plays Namor in the MCU. When we last saw Namor, his ankle wing was slashed by Shuri in the final showdown, resulting in him kneeling and forming an amicable alliance with Wakanda. This leads to several future possibilities in the MCU for the Sub-Mariner (Namor), particularly in the next big ensemble movie in Phase 6, 'Avengers: The Kang Dynasty' or 'Avengers: The Secret Wars', though a small tease in Phase 5 is a possibility.

Namor in 'Avengers'

Namor is a potential candidate to join the avengers in the fight with Kang. It is to be noted that in the comic book 'Avengers #262', Namor was given the opportunity to join the Avengers by Captain America. At the time, Namor was living a lonely life, away from his people. Namor accepted the offer by Cap and would go on to be seen in several battles, including The Kang Dynasty storyline. And as the MCU is moving forward with the same storyline, it is possible for Namor to join the Avengers in MCU as well.

Namor's future in MCU

There is a very strong reason Namor could be leaving his home in MCU. As we have seen, he explains his kneeling to Namora saying he did it for the benefit of Tlālōcān. However, the answer seems to not convince Namora as she is pretty mad at the result of the final battle with the Wakandans. It is also yet to be known how the people of Tlālōcān reacted to their king's decision. On the other hand, Attuma, the Tlālōcān warrior, should also be taken into account as, if Namor's decision has affected Attuma badly, there is a huge chance that he would organize a revolt against the king of Tlālōcān.

On the other hand, if everyone in Tlālōcān were to stand behind Namor's decision, it is assumed that Namor will continue to train their people for battle and maintain a stronger army to defend. This would come in handy when the threat comes in the form of Kang. And Namor's strength and flight would be in need against the multiversal villain.

Though there is currently no direct connection between Namor and the rest of the Avengers, the most likely way the Sub-Mariner could join the team of superheroes is through Shuri. As Shuri knows Namor's power and potential, she would very likely persuade Namor into joining the Avengers, much like the storyline of the comic book, to fight Kang.

This could mean Namor might not be in Phase 5 of the MCU, unless he appears in a cameo role or post-credit scene. Otherwise, he might directly join Phase 6 of the MCU.
