'Marrying Millions': Rodney's mother rejects Desiry over a dress, fans slam him for not buying her a new one

Rodney took up his mom's complaints with Desiry and she was displeased with the barrage of complaints that came her way

Rodney and Desiry are going through a rough patch. The family dinner during which she met Rodney's parents for the first time was a fiasco. Although Desiry was more than happy to have interacted with them, Rodney's mother wasn't and one could tell. 

She called Rodney to her home the next day and shared with him that she disapproved of her. It was Desiry's dress, her talking about sex and Rodney paying her bills and rent, that put her off and pushed her to comment on how Desriy's actions were inappropriate, especially because she was meeting them for the first time. 

Rodney took it up with Desiry later and she was displeased with the barrage of complaints that were dumped on her. She was angry and even called his mom "phony." In her confessional, she defended her stance and said that the dress looked pretty on her and there was no harm in showing a bit of cleavage. 

Meanwhile, fans cannot stop wondering why Rodney didn't buy her a dress. He did say in his confessional though that the dress Desiry had on was a bit much but he didn't want to make the mistake of pointing it out to her because it would then make her mad. 

"Rodney and Desiry don’t sleep in the same bed? Lol I mean we all know he’s gay anyway so we get it. Rodney also could’ve bought her a dress. His mom could’ve also spoken to her directly if there was an issue. I hate this show. #marryingmillions," a fan commented, while another shared: "Rodney is MESSY .... he know damn well he said Desiry’s dress was ok for her to meet his mom in #marryingmillions."

"Rodney you know you could’ve bought Desiry a nice dress & got her hair done before meeting your purents...but that wasn’t in the budget for her, now was it??#marryingmillions," a user tweeted. 

Let's hope the couple is able to look past the mishap and move forward in their relationship.
