Looks like Virginia is all ready to put her party days behind her, or is at least hoping to find someone she can party with instead

A new season of 'Married at First Sight' is finally here and that can only mean one thing — new couples, new romances, new fights and a whole new set of drama that comes along with it all.

This season we see five men and five women ready to walk down the aisle and tie the knot and then get to know each other, while thrust into starting their life together. While some couples seem like perfect matches, others can come across as polar opposites — that isn't to say that they won't work. In fact, in some cases, they might just work out better.

This new season is definitely all about 'opposites attract', seeing that some of these pairings look like they are quite interesting combinations. One of the slightly more mismatched combinations of the season would have to be Erik and Virginia. Erik, who has been previously married, is hoping to settle down and have someone to come home to, seeing that his job as a commercial pilot often has him on the road. He certainly seems like he's more on the quiet side, as compared to Virginia who comes across as rather outgoing. Here's what we know about her so far

Virginia has a zest for life

The 26-year-old account co-ordinator is anything but a homebody, seeing that she enjoys being out and about, making the most of her life. She's big on attended music festivals and parties. So when it comes to her life partner, she is looking for someone she can enjoy these things with. Although she does want to settle down, she's hoping it doesn't mean having to give up on fun, just that she'll be able to have fun with someone she loves.

She admits to having 'self-sabotaged relationships'

Couples that show up on 'Married At First Sight' often have a really good reason for doing the show and Virginia is no different. We learn her reason soon enough. She has a history of self-sabotaging her relationships and thus has not been successful in maintaining a healthy one. Seeing that her parents are divorced, she's had her reservations about marriage. But she's hoping that this time around it'll be different. And we hope so too, seeing that she's a lot more self-aware.

Non-drinkers are a deal-breaker

It comes as no secret that Virginia is a bit of a party girl. She enjoys going out, having fun and grabbing a drink or two. In the premiere episode, when the women were talking about what would be a dealbreaker from them — marrying a virgin or a non-drinker, Virginia was rather vocal about the fact that the latter was a big no-no for her. She went on to explain herself. Since she does go out often, she doesn't want to be with someone who will constantly judge her and her choices. She wants a partner she can have fun with instead. Here's hoping Erik happens to be that guy.
