'Married at First Sight': Breakup or an argument? Olivia wants to be honest about her feelings but Brett leaves

Olivia and Brett seem to have opposing views about most things lately

Brett and Olivia have had a great start to their marriage, unlike the popular opinion about their relationship doing the rounds on social media. They have been heavily communicating and were down to having a good time, relax and rejuvenate in the coziest of hotels in Mexico, but the cracks have started to appear.

In the previous week, when the cast members started rating their marriages out of dating, Brett refused to do so saying he will not "dehumanize" something this important. Olivia gave their marriage a solid 7, which didn't seem like a big deal until Brett completely shut down and stopped talking about what was bothering him. He even managed to make Olivia cry by being cold to her. After she asked about his plans when they reach New Orleans, Brett gave him a straight answer that they continue filming for the show. And this got her worked up but she didn't give up.

Olivia got down to specifics and asked what kind of activities he would like them to engage in when they're relatively free, such as reading books, watching movies, and so on. Unfortunately, Brett didn't have an answer for that too. And that was it for Olivia, who excused herself from the show and ran to a secluded area in the room, asking the production unit to give her a few minutes to process it all.

Tonight, we see Olivia crying as she says: "I don't ever want to look back and say 'I didn't try' but I feel like the only way that I can try is, to be honest with you about how I feel." The moment she finishes the sentence, Brett leaves the scene. Has the couple reached a breaking point? It could be the editing but even if it were to be true, fans wouldn't be surprised. Most have been hating on Brett since Episode 1 and think that he is better matched with Christina. The keyboard warriors have called Brett all kinds of names and have even speculated that even if they survive the show, their opposing views on kids could be a problem in the future.
