Brett and Olivia's marriage, unlike popular social media opinion, has started off well. This 'Married at First Sight' couple has been taking things day by day, investing time to understand each other, explore common interests. But that golden phase could be met with roadblocks. It's too soon to comment but in this week's episode, we see Christina asking Brett how much he would rate his marriage with Olivia. "Not going to do that. Rating people is inhumanizing," he said but Christina thought that it was "sketchy" that he didn't want to do that.

There could be plenty of reasons. He could be thinking that it's too early in the marriage to be assessing it or he simply wants to be respectful of Olivia, which be true because the couple had a conversation about them having kids in the future. While Brett said he wants kids but will also wait for Olivia to be on the same page because otherwise, it would not be "fair" to them or to their kids.

Olivia made her intentions clear. She said how giving birth and raising kids often results in sacrifices that one has to make accommodate a new, tiny family member and so she is not ready for that kind of commitment yet. Brett gently nodded in agreement almost as if he acknowledged Olivia's thoughts, which came across as a breath of fresh air because nothing is more important than having a supportive partner by your side.

Looks like Brett and Olivia have a good understanding of each other and their priorities. It's too early to comment, but seems like they know how to give each other space and at the same time treat them with respect. Here's hoping they are able to continue this balance through to the Decision Day, on day of which they must decide if they want to stay married or if it is time for them to go separate ways. It is going to be a tough call for some couples though.
