'Married At First Sight' Reunion: Truth about Katie and Zach's relationship is out, fans say it's embarrassing
Lifetime Channel's 'Married At First Sight' is all set to draw the curtains on Season 10 with a rather explosive reunion episode on Wednesday. In the preview clip, the couples are asked difficult questions by host Kevin Frazier resulting in some shocking revelations.
Derek Sherman, who married Katie Conrad, shared at the reunion that his wife admitted to having an affair. His statement was stopped at that leaving fans guessing who she could have cheated with. The couple has had a tumultuous relationship and was almost on the verge of ending the marriage on decision day, especially Katie.
An Instagram page, @mafsfan, that regularly posts spoilers from the show hinted that Zach Justice and Katie went out on a date, and users couldn't agree more. While some wrote they deserved each other for being so vile towards their partners, others wrote they wouldn't be surprised if they were together.
Meanwhile, Katie has come clean on the matter just days before the 'Married At First Sight' reunion episode is to be aired. On her Instagram stories, she had shared a screengrab of her updated bio, which read: "Didn't cheat/ just friends with @thecasualathlete." Katie's bio now stands updated.
Meanwhile, fans thought that was not a great move by Katie and she should have avoided coming clean on the matter this way.
"Her... Insta bio includes a statement of not being a cheater and just being friends with a dude? Who does that? That's so embarrassing. Her need to not look bad makes her... look SO bad lol," a viewer wrote on Reddit.
Another shared: "She’s literally embarrassing herself, this honestly looks more suspicious then if she was silent about everything and just waited until after the reunion aired to make a statement."
"Seems like Derek's nasty ho wife Katie may have been shacking up with Zach," a user tweeted. "I have disliked Katie from the start. Dereck was way too good for her. She probably offered it to Zach just to say she went out with him," another posted.
Derek and Katie's relationship wasn't rocky from the start. They, along with Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd, had the best honeymoon in Panama. Derek even arranged for a surprise birthday date for her complete with champaign and rose petals.
It was all happy and chirpy between the two until one day Katie shared how she was still hung up on her ex-boyfriend. Ever since then it was downhill for the couple. They had more fights, bitter arguments and less of love.
