Marina Balmasheva: Woman, 37, who married 23-year-old stepson pregnant with their second child
KARASNODAR, RUSSIA: A Russian woman who left her husband and married her stepson is now having a second baby with him. Marina Balmasheva has been married to Vladimir 'Vova' Shavyrin since 2020 after she left his father, Alexey Shavyrin. The couple already shares a 20-month-old daughter, Olga, together.
Announcing the good news on her Instagram page, the 37-year-old wrote, "We accept your hearts and sincere congratulations." The social post also included a photo of Balmasheva, her 23-year-old step-son and now, husband, whom she raised from the age of seven, and their first born.

The woman posted a clip of her ultrasound too on her account and said, “It's a strange feeling when you hear from a doctor: yes, that's it. Look … And you see her or him... Just three weeks on video. They waited exactly one year. According to ultrasound, the date of conception is the day of the wedding. Although on this day we overate delicious fried ribs 😂 and there was nothing. But that means they figured it out without us.”
While Balmasheva is not shy about her unconventional marriage, her former husband is enraged. The 47-year-old man, who is now raising their five adopted children alone, told Mirror, “She seduced my son… He had not had a girlfriend before her. They were not shy to have sex while I was at home. I would have forgiven her cheating, if it wasn't my son…She was running to my son's bed from our bedroom when I was sleeping…After that she was coming back and lying in bed with me as if nothing had happened.”
The woman had previously also revealed the difference between her two marriages. She claimed her wedding to Alexey was "not living but pretending”. But with Vladimir, she feels loved. “He fell in love with me with all my scars from plastic surgeries, cellulite, excessive skin and personality,” she said.
Balmasheva also reportedly said, “Did I have regrets that I destroyed the family? Both yes and no. I was ashamed that I killed the stability of 'mum and dad'. Did I want to return to my ex? No. Do I feel anger and hatred towards him? Not any longer. He is a good person and a wonderful father to our children….How did children take the changes? Absolutely calmly. What [do I have] today? I am married. I moved to a bigger city. I love and I am loved.”
Earlier in 2021, Balmasheva and Vladimir had welcomed Olga. The weight-loss influencer had said at the time on Instagram, “And I wanted to sleep. But the daughter did not allow. But does it matter when we have such cheeks.” Later, in another post, she added, “Shavyrina Olga Vladimirovna In honor of great-grandmother Olga, about whom I wrote to you several times. She put all her love, attention, years and sometimes a weed into me and my sister (and our dad) 😁 When we took her out. Until now, when I remember her, there are tears in my eyes and warmth in my heart.”
