Marina Balmasheva: Woman who married stepson she raised from age 7 gives birth to his baby
A social media influencer, who had sex with her stepson and is now married to him, has given birth to his baby. Marina Balmasheva, who left 21-year-old Vladimir Shavyrin’s father for him, shared regular updates to her followers when going into labor. The 35-year-old shared photos of her daughter on her Instagram account but did not reveal the face. “Dad does not want to show our daughter yet. That’s why the view is only from the back…We are thinking about the name," Balmasheva told her half million-plus Russian followers.
As reported by The Sun, at the time of the baby's birth, Vladimir, whom Balmasheva helped raise from the age of seven, was not present. The reason for his absence was not clear. The weight-loss influencer was married to Alexey Shavyrin, father of Vladimir. The 45-year-old man had alleged that Balmasheva seduced his son when he came home for holidays.
Balmasheva revealed that after giving birth to her baby on Friday, January 15, she was a “complete mess”. However, she mentioned: “Everything is very good with us. [The baby] did not sleep too well at night, but [she] has been sleeping since 6 am." Before the delivery, the blogger had given details of her pregnancy to her followers and also shared with them how she underwent a succession of plastic surgery treatments so that she can look younger and her new partner would find her attractive. She revealed that she thinks Vladimir has “the most charming blue-eyes in the world”.
“So many people tell me to use makeup — make lashes and curl my pubic hair — because of my young husband. But there is one thing — he fell in love with me with all my scars from plastic surgeries, cellulite, excessive skin, and personality. And I do not want to seem better than what I am,” Balmasheva said. However, her former husband had accused her of seducing Vladimir. He had alleged that “she seduced my son… He had not had a girlfriend before her. They were not shy to have sex while I was at home. I would have forgiven her cheating, if it wasn't my son….She was running to my son's bed from our bedroom when I was sleeping…After that, she was coming back and lying in bed with me as if nothing had happened.”
According to Balmasheva, her previous marriage to Alexey was "not living but pretending”. “Did I have regrets that I destroyed the family? Both yes and no. I was ashamed that I killed the stability of 'mum and dad'. Did I want to return to my ex? No. Do I feel anger and hatred towards him? Not any longer. He is a good person and a wonderful father to our children….How did children take the changes? Absolutely calmly. What [do I have] today? I am married. I moved to a bigger city. I love and I am loved,” she said.
Balmasheva had earlier faced a huge backlash for having a sexual relationship with her stepson. In May 2020, she shared a before and after photo of her with Vladimir. The before photo showed a seven-year-old Vladimir with her while the after photo had adult Vladimir and Balmasheva posing lovingly. “You never know how life will turn out and when you will meet a person who makes you smile. I know that some will judge us, others will support us, but we are happy and wish you to be as well,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing the pictures.
Many others criticized her too. One user commented, “What shocks me most is that this boy grew up before her very eyes.”
