This holiday season, Mariah Carey got just the "perfect Christmas gift" when almost 30 celebrities teamed up for a music video that pays tribute to her iconic song, 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'. The track that first hit the charts as the lead single from her album 'Merry Christmas' on October 29, 1994.

The four-minute music video that came in honor of the 25th anniversary of the song begins with a hilarious message from Tyler Perry, who pretends to mispronounce and poke fun at the pop diva's first name. Ryan Reynolds follows suit and is joined by James Corden, Katy Perry, Ciara, Ruby Rose, Laverne Cox, Missy Elliott, Olivia Newton-John, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson and Kerry Washington.

Kim Kardashian West and Kris Jenner are also seen along with a glimpse of Kim's child North West. The list doesn't end there. Mariah’s ex-husband Nick Cannon also makes an appearance along with rapper Snoop Dogg, 'Stranger Things' fame Millie Bobby Brown, Diplo, Chance the Rapper, Ariana Grande, Normani, Cyndi Lauper and John Travolta. Towards the end, there is an adorable snippet of her kids dancing to the song.

Ecstatic after watching the clip, she wrote on Instagram, "WOW! This is one of the best Christmas gifts I could ever have gotten. I am so thankful to all of my friends and favorite artists who participated in this video. You brought ta huge smile to my face. THANK YOU!"

The new music video comes in the wake of Carey's Christmas song reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time ever last week on December 16, 2019. While the song seems to be a huge hit among music lovers, Mariah revealed that writing the song was a “happy incident” while living in New York.

“Actually, I put on 'It’s A Wonderful Life' downstairs. You could hear it throughout the house.” She revealed that the film inspired her to create the melody and she recorded it on a mini tape before taking it to the studio.
