'Dreamland': There's more to the movie than naked Margot Robbie and steamy sex, here's where you can stream it
Set during the time of The Great Depression, the film follows Eugene (Finn Cole), who helps Wells (Robbie) avoid the police and travel to Mexico
Be it 'Joker' or 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', Margot Robbie has always managed to steal hearts with her stellar performance, now Robbie will be sharing the screen with Finn Cole in the imminent film titled, 'Dreamland'. A scene from the film is gaining a lot of traction, where Robbie can be seen stripping naked with Cole. The temperature quotient is just too high for viewers to keep calm.
In the film, Cole plays the character of Eugene Evans, while Robbie plays Allison Wells. The steamy intimate scene comes after Eugene struggles to hold his feelings for Wells, and hence, joins her in the shower. After a passionate kiss, the brief moment shared by the pair has made many heads turn. Set during the time of The Great Depression, the film follows Eugene, who decides to help Wells to avoid the police and travel to Mexico, after going on the run for robbing a bank and killing five people.
The official synopsis of the film reads, "Eugene Evans (Finn Cole) is coming of age in the Texas Dust Bowl. Clinging to a dream of escape and reunion with his biological father, Eugene and his family struggle to keep their home amidst a plague of Dust Storms and foreclosures. In a nearby town, five innocent civilians are killed in the midst of a holdup, and the local authorities are pursuing the fugitive bank robber, Allison Wells (Margot Robbie). When a $10,000 bounty is placed for the capture of Ms. Wells, Eugene seizes the opportunity in hopes that this monetary reward will prevent the foreclosure of his family farm. However, the task comes easier than anticipated when Eugene finds her hiding out on his family's farm. Eugene discovers that Allison Wells' story may be a bit different than he had thought, and there may be a better way to save his family than turn her in. It doesn’t hurt that Allison Wells is a good talker and soft on the eyes, but more than that Eugene begins to fall in love for the first time in his life because they share something else; the dream of escaping their stories."
The film also stars Travis Fimmel and Garrett Hedlund and was directed by Miles Joris-Peyrafitte.
The film had a world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 28, 2019. On November 13, 2020, the film had a limited release by Vertical Entertainment, followed by its video on demand release on November 17, 2020, by Paramount Pictures.
