No wedding ring!: Fans baffled as Margot Robbie ditches band while promoting 'Babylon' on 'The Project'
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Margot Robbie, who is married to British director Tom Ackerley, was in Sydney over the weekend to promote her new movie 'Babylon'. Looking stunning as ever, her fans didn't fail to notice that she had slipped off her signature diamond band and replaced the bling with a large gold fashion ring for the second time. Margot's fans were perplexed when she made an appearance on Channel Ten's 'The Project' wearing an entirely different band on her left ring finger.
The 32-year-old Australian actress spoke with her hands a lot throughout the interview and was quite animated which made her missing wedding band stand out more. The substantial gold ring coordinated with two others on Margot's fingers and her gold pendant necklace. However, Margot's wedding band was visible the next day when she went to the 'Babylon' red carpet premiere at Sydney's State Theatre. Margot had switched her glistening ring and pear-shaped diamond several times in the past three days. She initially fueled rumors on Sunday when she wore her ring finger bare.

Margot was photographed exiting the Sydney airport with a fully exposed bare finger. According to RadarOnline.com, Ackerley did not accompany his wife on her promotional tour to Australia with Hollywood hotties Brad Pitt and Tobey Maguire. But a day later, Margot walked the red carpet without an engagement ring and only wore her wedding band.
Margot displayed her Barbie-worthy limbs in a light blue dress with a corset-inspired neckline and a high slit. Her tan legs drew even more attention, thanks to the red lace that encircled the sky-high cut. Even though Margot has been in front of the cameras all week, the speculations about her missing wedding ring have persisted despite her silence.
"Margot turning up to Aus premier (sic) with no wedding ring!" one person tweeted. "Why isn't she wearing her ring?" asked another. "A lot of married couples don’t wear their wedding bands," someone responded. Deuxmoi also got in on the action, saying it confirmed Margot and her husband were still going strong.
Margot previously admitted she rarely wears her engagement and wedding rings as she's 'scared to lose it' at work. "Other than the fact that I get to wear this [her ring] on the weekends. I can't wear it during the week when I'm working – I don't want to lose it on set." the actress said.
"That's the thing, we were best friends and roommates before, and now we're like best friends and roommates still, so nothing's changed at all,' she said during an interview with Vogue Australia in 2017. "Other than the fact that I get to wear this [her ring] on the weekends. I can't wear it during the week when I'm working – I don't want to lose it on set, she added."
