'I would remember': Johnny Depp giggles when bodyguard is asked if he'd seen actor's penis
During the ongoing defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard on Thursday, April 28, there was a funny moment in court and the actor broke out laughing when his bodyguard was questioned if he had seen the actor's penis. Depp and Heard's trial began on April 11 in Fairfax, Virginia. Depp's bodyguard, Malcolm Connolly, claimed on Thursday that he accompanied the pair to Australia in 2015 when Depp's finger was cut. At the time, Depp was filming the fifth ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ movie. Heard's lawyer said that Depp was trying to pee ‘in the foyer’ and ‘had his penis out’ at the residence in Australia.
"When you arrived at the house, you could hear a ruckus. Correct?” Connolly was asked by Heard’s lawyer and he confessed to hearing a noise, but only ‘shouting.’ He said he couldn't comprehend what was being said. “You went inside the house and saw Mr. Depp in the foyer. Correct?” Connolly, who said yes, was then asked: “Mr Depp was trying to urinate in the foyer, wasn’t he?” When the bodyguard said “no”, the lawyer asked: “Mr Depp had his penis out, didn’t he? Depp and other court attendants laughed as Connelly replied, “I think I would remember if I’d seen Mr Depp’s penis.” Heard remained stoic as the 2015 Australia fight was discussed. Heard described that incident as "the worst thing I have ever been through".

The purported peeing event is claimed to have sparked a brawl between the two, with Depp's finger being cut in the process. The couple's two Yorkshire terriers, Pistol and Boo, were also held inside the infamous Australian residence after being unlawfully brought into the country. During the testimony, Connolly claimed to have observed many incidents in which the actress allegedly threw objects at her partner, including a lighter and a can of soda. He also said that Depp frequently had scratches on his face.

He then went on to talk about the 2015 event that left the actor with a severed finger, describing the 'chaos' he saw as Depp's finger was 'flapping around'. The actor's security said that he urged Depp to go out, but that when they got outside, Amber yelled, "F*** off, you f****** coward," and that he believed her behavior was 'crazy.' During cross-examination, he agreed to be loyal to Depp but said, "I’d be loyal to you if I was working for you." He reportedly encountered Heard in 2010 for the first time during her promotion for the film 'Drive Angry' with Nicolas Cage in the UK.
Connolly also remarked that he observed things began to change over time with Heard beginning to wear the pants in the relationship. Initially, the Scottish security man described the pair as 'lovey-dovey' and Heard as 'lovely, charming.' He then went on to tell the court that he saw Depp go from being happy in love to "quiet" as Heard became more "dominant" and "demanding".
Depp is suing his ex-wife for $50 million over a December 2018 op-ed in which she referred to herself as a ‘public figure representing domestic abuse.’ Heard did not name but his attorneys have claimed that it made it difficult for him to get film roles as a result of it.
