Ever since the Johnny Depp v Amber Heard trial began, several rumors and revelations have surfaced. The latest rumor is Amber Heard's lawyer and legal team have quit her case amidst the trial.

However, there is no official announcement yet that Benjamin Rottenborn and her team, Heard's attorneys, have left her high and dry. This rumor came into existence as a video titled, "Amber Heard Lawyer QUITS After Heated Argument About Court Performance.” was posted online.

Since it has such a captivating title, netizens were likely to believe it. However, the video is nothing but a recap of what has went down so far in terms of the Depp-Heard trial. This trial began on Monday, April 11 and it happens Monday to Thursday. This trial is set to last for five weeks. However, the four days between May 9 and May 12 will be a pause as Judge Azcarate has another event to attend.

After the then couple tied the knot in 2015, they separated a year later in 2016. The rumors of physical abuse started when the Aquaman actress claimed that she used Milani's All In One Correcting Kit to hide her alleged bruises. The cosmetic brand, on the hand said, they launched the product in 2017. However, Heard's lawyer stated in court that she always had the product in her purse to ensure Heard's bruises could never be seen by the public.

Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard

This case between the 58-year old Pirates of the Carribean star and Heard, 36 started when Depp sued Heard for a defamation lawsuit and damages worth $50 million. He claims her accusations of physical and sexual abuse against him are false. On the other hand, Heard is countersuing Depp for $100 million as he libeled her by calling her a liar.

In 2018, Heard wrote an article in The Washington Post where she stated that she was physically and sexually abused. Though the article does not mention Johnny Depp's name, his lawyers have implies these claims to be false.
