Spoilers for 'Making The Cut' Finale Episode 10  'The Winner: The Next Global Brand'

'Making The Cut' has reached its end and Jonny Cota has really shown his growth and talent as a designer in the past few weeks. He has gone from an underdog to one of the two finalists.

In Episode 10 - 'The Winner: The Next Global Brand' -  Jonny goes all out with his 12-14 look collection 'Metamorphosis' in New York City. What started off as signature Jonny, quickly changed into these large pieces of clothing styled with what Heidi Klum thought were dish-washing gloves. As his models came onto the runway, the clothes began to look like a mixed bag where it seemed as though Jonny threw in all that he knew in design to make a cohesive piece, which the German supermodel didn't approve of.

Nicole Richie casually threw the idea of Jonny's models starting to look like serial killers, much like Dexter Morgan of crime-drama show 'Dexter,' to which Naomi Campbell laughed heartily. However, Joseph Altuzarra and Chiara Ferragni were transported to another world. They thought his line had a strong story and felt like some of his pieces can be worn on different body shapes and sizes.

"He's been on this whole journey with us and this is really the culmination and I can really see how he has grown," Joseph commented.

Earlier in the fashion show, the finalists - Jonny and Esther Perbandt - were scheduled for a pitch presentation with President of Amazon Fashion, Christine Beauchamp. Even though Jonny didn't have a detailed plan of how he was going to use the million dollars to grow his brand's business, he managed to impress her with the idea of building a lifestyle brand. "He had a really innovative, I think, idea around global manufacturing," she added.

Jonny stuttered before he even began his presentation and appeared rehearsed in his approach, but as he deep-dived the thoughts and ideas surrounding his namesake label became clear as water.

The Los Angeles-based designer started his journey in the fashion industry with just a sewing machine and a dream that stemmed from his stint as a circus performer (he used to be a stilt walker and fire dancer). His passion for art, edginess, and all things fashion finally brought him the prize and recognition he deserved and worked so hard for all these years. He was almost in tears when this show ended.

Jonny ended up winning 'Making The Cut.'
