'MAFS' Season 17 star Becca Haley breaks down as she 'begs' for intimacy with Austin R after he sleeps in separate room
FOXFIELD, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 star Becca Haley and Austin R joined a couples' retreat to strengthen their relationship. However, the latest episode suggested that the couple's intimacy issue grew during their gateway. Becca was under the weather and asked Austin to leave the room.
However, after she felt well Becca and Austin cuddled on the couch and had a conversation about the intimacy issue. Becca told Austin that there was still a big part of their relationship that he had to work on.
Becca referred to the night when Austin abandoned her alone in the bed in the middle of the night and said, "Friday, our one night here was definitely disappointing for me."
She added, "I think I just heard you talk a lot about intimacy and working on intimacy and getting closer. It started off on a really..." Austin responded, "Poor note" and took accountability for his actions while apologizing to Becca. He said, "It was me. For that I'm sorry. That wasn't the mindset I was in that night."
However, Becca was visibly emotional as Austin comforted her and soon broke down in tears. She tearfully shared, "It's not just couples retreat but it's like leading up to couples retreat." She added, "I just keep waiting, and then there was like this build-up to this weekend, where you were like, I'm really excited for couples retreat."
Becca further added, "And then I just like to keep waiting. It doesn't feel good to have to, like, beg to be wanted."
Austin R leaves Becca Haley alone in middle of the night
During the first night at the couple's retreat, Austin R abruptly left Becca Haley alone on the bed in the middle of the night. He was drunk and just took blankets and a pillow and left the room. Becca was confused by Austin's action and admitted, "I really don’t know what happened."
She elaborated in the confessional, "He just rolled out of bed and left." She added, "He said, 'Just so you know, I'm going to go sleep in the big bedroom and you can come if you want.'" Although Austin invited Becca to follow him into the bigger bedroom, she was confused over his intentions.
Becca was visibly frustrated with Austin's complete ignorance toward intimacy and claimed, "I still was like, 'well, are we going to do something?' and he just stood in the doorway and was like, 'oh, I don't know.' He was just drunk." She added, "It didn't feel very inviting, it didn't feel like he was coming up behind me, kissing my neck."

'MAFS' Season 17 couple Austin R and Becca Haley kicked off their relationship on a stronger note than other Lifetime show couples. The couple had a whirlwind romance during their honeymoon but things started to fizzle out after Austin and Bacca's argument over their religious differences.
Austin then started avoiding intimacy with Becca amid their different religious beliefs in raising their kids. However, the preview for the upcoming episode hung the couple's future on the thread.
In the teaser, Becca was in tears as she addressed her intimacy issue during the therapy session. Becca was quite confused after Pastor Cal asked her if she wanted to continue with Austin.
