Days after Dua Lipa spoke against DaBaby’s homophobic rant at Rolling Loud Miami 2021 festival, a slew of celebrities took to their respective social media accounts to crucify the ‘BOP’ hitmaker despite him apologizing partially for his actions. The latest star to drag DaBaby over his recent controversial remarks is pop queen Madonna as she posted a lengthy message on her official Instagram account with an intention to school the rapper.

The multiple award-winning songstress, who has been an advocate for HIV/AIDS for a long time, shared the festival video where DaBaby made his infamous speech and showered the post with a few facts. Apart from Madonna, we recently saw gay icon and legendary singer Elton John, and crooner Demi Lovato taking a dig at DaBaby’s widely discussed rant.

Is DaBaby homophobic? Rapper blasted for rant at Rolling Loud Miami: 'He's human garbage'

‘People like you are the reason we are still living in a world divided by fear’, says Madonna

Sharing the post with her more than 16 million followers on Instagram, Madonna first dropped a few facts about HIV/AIDS saying there were life-saving medicines available to children born with HIV. She later slammed the rapper adding that his sexist remarks about "Ladies who’s pu**ies need to smell like water only encourage more discrimination against women."  She asserted, “A message to DaBaby - if you’re going to make hateful remarks to the LGBTQ+ community about HIV/AIDS then know your facts: After decades of hard won scientific research— there are life saving medicines available to children born with HIV, to people who contract HIV through blood transfusions, dirty needles or exchange of bodily fluids. These new ARV’s can keep a person with AIDS alive for the rest of their lives!!! AID’s is not transmitted by standing next to someone in a crowd.”

The 62-year-old crooner then added, “I want to put my cellphone lighter up and pray for your ignorance, No one dies of AIDS in 2 or 3 weeks anymore. Thank God.” She continued, “And your sexist remarks about Ladies who’s pu**ies need to smell like water only encourage more discrimination against women who fight daily against the oppression of living under the constraints of the Male Gaze.” Madonna concluded, “People like you are the reason we are still living in a world divided by fear. All Human beings should be treated with dignity and respect regardless of race, gender, sexual preference or religious beliefs. AMEN. @dababy”

Celebrities condemn DaBaby’s homophobic rant

During his performance at the Rolling Loud fest, DaBaby had said, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up.” He added, “Ladies, if your pu**y smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.” One person in the background, which is being assumed as his DJ, added, “Let’s be real about this shit, some of y’all n****s suspect as a mother**ker.”  He had later apologized in a series of tweets but that did not stop A-listers to dismiss him. The rapper also dropped a fresh music video of his new song called 'Giving What It's Supposed to Give'  to address the controversy.

Sir Elton John, who is openly gay and a longtime HIV advocate, took to his Twitter account saying, “Shocked to read about the HIV misinformation and homophobic statements made at a recent DaBaby show. This fuels stigma and discrimination and is the opposite of what our world needs to fight the AIDS epidemic.” Pop singer Demi Lovato, who recently came out as nonbinary, shared an Instagram gallery post from the makeup artist and queer activist Matt Bernstein and captioned the post as, “hot people listen to the original version of levitating” referring to Dua Lipa’s hit single that featured DaBaby on the remix.
