Machine Gun Kelly has announced a new film, ‘Downfalls High’, releasing next year and Actor Sydney Sweeney has featured in the teaser trailer, which has sparked quite a lot of reactions online. After a gorgeous performance at the American Music Awards, Machine Gun Kelly launched a brand-new trailer for his upcoming musical which will be narrated by the ‘Bad Things’ singer and blink-182’s drummer Travis Barker. The first of its kind musical experience film is titled ‘Downfalls High’ and going to feature a thorough storyline along with documentations of live performances where Kelly will be seen with artists like Maggie Lindemann in the film.

Release date

The musical is scheduled to release in January 2021 but no specific date has been given yet.

Plot

The musical will be threaded in a storyline coupled with live performance clips from Kelly’s concerts and memorable performances. From the trailer, Kelly can be seen talking to actor Sydney Sweeney about their ‘love story’ where the 30-year-old singer promises a forever kind of love to Sweeney and when the actor asks him, what do you want to be when you grow up, the ‘wild boy’ said, ‘dad’. The teaser portrays a coming of age story featuring a pop-punk album.

Creator 

Machine Gun Kelly will be narrating the story with the drummer Travis Burker. 

Cast

From the trailer, it seems that there can be more than one cameo. So far, Kelly has been seen with Sweeney and reportedly Maggie Lindemann will appear in the film.
