Machine Gun Kelly ‘Tickets to My Downfall’: Release date, tracklist, concept and all the pre-buzz around rapper's pop-punk album
Colson Baker, who is more popular with his stage name Machine Gun Kelly, is all set to entertain his fans with his brand new album titled ‘Tickets to My Downfall.’ The American rapper from Cleveland, Ohio has been teasing his fans about his new record from the last few months.
The 30-year-old singer-songwriter had announced his fifth studio album on his official Twitter account on September 4, 2020, where he simply shared the cover art of the album along with the official tracklist. He had tweeted, “Album cover and track list #TicketsToMyDownfall 9/25”

However, Machine Gun Kelly, also abbreviated as MGK, was forced to change it later after it was revealed that his album cover art belonged to a photographer. He then came up with a lot of different posters in order to replace the previous one. MGK had also shared a behind-the-scenes video for the cover shoot for his upcoming album. The new album is a follow-up to his fourth studio album titled ‘Hotel Diablo’ which was released in 2019.
Release Date
‘Tickets to My Downfall’ will release on September 25, 2020 via Bad Boy and Interscope Records.
Concept
MGK's new project is more of a guitar-driven pop-punk album, which is kind of a departure from his usual rap songs. The singer-songwriter is stepping into pop-punk scene with ‘Tickets to My Downfall’. The new record is produced by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. The two have collaborated earlier on several other projects in the past.

In his brand new album, MGK has joined hands with artistes like Halsey, Trippie Redd and a few others. Three singles from the album namely ‘My Ex’s Best Friend’ ft. blackbear, ‘Bloody Valentine’ and ‘Concert for Aliens’ have already been released with an intention to promote the album.
