Machine Gun Kelly says media lying 'all the time' after row at Louder Than Life fest
A week after dissing the iconic metal band Slipknot at Riot Festival in Chicago and getting into an online argument with group’s lead vocalist Corey Taylor, Machine Gun Kelly again got into trouble during his recent performance at Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky.
The rapper-turned-rocker first got booed by the audience which seemed to be the aftermath of his beef with Taylor and things spiraled out of control when he got into an altercation with a fan at the same venue. Several fan-made videos surfaced online where Kelly can be seen almost punching a fan. The 31-year-old musician quickly grabbed one of the top spots on the trending list on Sunday, September 26 as social media users again decided to troll him brutally. However, the ‘Bloody Valentine’ hitmaker tried to control the narrative as he took to Twitter to slam media for lying all the time.

What happened at Louder Than Life Festival?
Kelly, who performed at the Louder Than Life Festival on September 25, got booed by the audience probably for his transition from a rapper to a rock musician. And, secondly, he faced hatred for his beef against Slipknot as they are one of the most renowned bands in rock music and also rock fans are known to be purists. While continuously getting booed, Kelly apparently told the crowd during his performance, “F**k yeah, dude. Everyone f**king get on the f**king shoulders of some strong, sweaty guy and f**king crowd surf up here”, as reported by XXL Magazine.
After facing the heat from the audience, the multiple award-winning musician then got into an altercation with a fan as several videos on Twitter showed how a fan tried to push Kelly after he was performing near the stage arena. The fan then gets intercepted by Kelly’s security as the singer pulls of a punch toward the fan while his team carried him away. Kelly later took to Twitter to share a fan video where the audience can be seen enjoying his performance. He took a jibe at the media saying, “I don’t know why the media lies in their narrative against me all the time but all i saw was 20,000 amazing fans at the festival singing every word and 20 angry ones.” Machine Gun Kelly, who is also famous as MGK, recently dissed Slipknot’s Corey Taylor by telling his concert audience in Chicago that he’s “happy” he isn’t “50 years old wearing a f**king weird mask on a stage, talking s**t.”

I don’t like people airing private shit like a child. So this is all I’ll say: I didn’t do the track because I don’t like when people try to ‘write’ for me. I said NO to THEM. So without further ado…. #receipts

‘Time for rock music to clean house’
Social media users rushed to Twitter as they dragged Kelly for his latest incident. “Well... he go against one of the fan favorite like is Corey Taylor in the Rock/Metal industry, clearly he doesn't have a idea how small he is in that scene”, said one user as another pitched in,” This is the funniest s**t i've seen this week.” One user said MGK, “Should probably go try his hand at techno.”
The next one added, “That Mcgregor incident changed this man” referring to Conor McGregor trying to get into an altercation with Kelly at the recent MTV VMAs. Continuing taking a jab at Kelly, one user tweeted, “Man this dude's career falling fast.” And, another added, “This man made the pop charts and done lost his mind.” One user shared, “This is so overhyped. I was there and there was a smattering of slipknot chants for about 10 seconds.” While, one person concluded, “It's time for rock music to clean house and get rid of this disrespectful trash talking bubblegum pop rock no talent having ingrate. All Hail @slipknot F**k @machinegunkelly.”
