Luke Combs is one of the biggest country musicians and at 30, he is surely one of the most-awarded singers in the same genre and therefore, when he takes over the stage he is bound to make the audience go gaga over him. Thanks to Covid-19, playing in arenas and award ceremonies with a live audience has been impossible but in Luke Combs’ case, all is good if you have a loving partner to cheer for you and the same happened when he hit the stage at the ongoing 2020 CMA Awards when social media fans spotted his loving wife Nicole Hocking standing and cheering him up from the front row.

The Internet loved how Combs’ wife was there to support him. One user tweeted, “@lukecombs I am totally jealous of your wife @nicohocking right now! I want to be rockin’ out like she is! #CMAawards” One individual asserted, “Okay but @lukecombs wife dancing and singing to him singing is the cutest thing ever!!! #CMAawards” Another added, “@lukecombs wife dancing to him singing while everyone else is sitting at the #CMAawards @CountryMusic is the kind of support we all need in this world.”  One person stated, “Find you a girl like @lukecombs wife @nicohocking who is the only one up dancing in a room full of people#CMAawards”.

As per Country Fancast, Combs and Hocking first met when the former had no publishing deal or a record deal. They hit it off really well and also attended a singer-songwriter festival in Key West, Florida in 2016. It is believed that Hocking spotted Combs walking down the street alone and then invited him to hang out with her friends. When the festival came to an end, they headed back to Nashville, where they both lived. After getting engaged in 2018, the lovely couple decided to take it to the next level in 2020. Combs and Hocking tied the knot at their beach home in southern Florida on August 1. Only family members and close friends were invited to this intimate affair, as reported by Country Fancast.

Speaking about the 2020 CMA Awards, musicians like Justin Bieber and Miranda Lambert will hit the stage with their popular songs. The award ceremony is being hosted by Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker. Singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert is leading the nominations race with seven nods followed closely by Luke Combs with six nods. Interestingly, both the artistes will be competing for the Entertainer of the Year award as well. Fans can catch the 54th edition of the renowned CMA Awards live from Nashville’s Music City Center from 8.00-11.00 pm/ET on ABC.
