'Love Under the Olive Tree': Meet the cast of Hallmark's romantic movie about two best friends
Nicole and Jake are childhood best friends who find themselves entangled in a family feud over a co-owned land. However, their friendship is met with more difficulties when they begin to see each other as more than just friends, despite the existing differences over the family property. Tori Anderson
Tori Anderson plays the role of fiery Nicole in 'Love Under the Olive Tree'. She's popular for her television roles such as Dr London Blake on TeenNick's 'Open Heart', Queen Titania in 'The Other Kingdom' and The CW's 'No Tomorrow'. She began pursuing her career in acting after receiving a BFA from York University's Acting Conservatory. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, similar to her character in 'Love Under the Olive Tree', Anderson grew up immersed in farming chores. She recently had the recurring role of Blake Crawford on NBC's 'Blindspot'. Her film credits include 'Killing Daddy', 'The Mermaid', 'To Have and to Hold' and 'Cable Beach'.
Benjamin Hollingsworth
Benjamin Hollingsworth is a Canadian actor essaying the role of Jack in 'Love Under the Olive Tree'. He started his career in television and film by featuring in guest roles in several Canadain TV series such as 'Degrassi: The Next Generation', 'Heartland' and HBO Canada's 'The Line'. He first rose to prominence by appearing in the highly acclaimed feature film 'The Joneses' in 2012 alongside Demi Moore, David Duchovny and Amber Heard. He was next cast in The CW's 'The Beautiful Life' in 2009. Hollingsworth played the lead role, Chris Andrews, in the series produced by Ashton Kutcher based on the latter's experience in the industry. He has had recurring roles in numerous television series including 'Suits', 'The Tomorrow People' and 'Cult'.
Shawn Roberts
Canadian actor Shawn Roberts ventured into acting after he was spotted by the award-winning screenwriter Robert Forsyth during his performance in a school play version of 'Little Red Riding Hood'. He was a regular on the 1998's show 'Emily of New Moon'. He landed a part in 'X-Men' in 2000, playing Rogue's boyfriend Cody. His recent work in television includes 'Designated Survivor', 'Cracked' and 'The Firm' among others.
