'Love Island USA' fans slam 'icky' Aaron Evans for his behavior towards the girls
MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' is not only a haven for potential lovers but also for potential best friends. But sometimes the degree of the latter might make the fans and viewers cringe, as it did in the most recent episode where Aaron Evans could be seen yelling at the girls as his best friend, Robert "Rob" Rausch threatened to walk out of the show.
In the June 23 episode, the girls were given the power to eliminate the female contestants who were not saved following the fans' votes. Those involved, JaNA Craig, Nicole Jacky, and Andrea Carmona.
As fans know, Andrea recently coupled up with Rob and their relationship was growing rather quickly. So, when Andrea is the one who was elected to be sent home, Rob loses it and threatens to walk out along with her.
This leaves Aaron visibly upset that he went up to the women only to yell at them in their faces. Even though the women tried to cite their reasons, he wasn't having it.
As the episode ended on a cliffhanger with fans yet to find out if Rob walks out with Andrea's hand in hand, some of the irritated viewers took to Reddit to call out Aaron for his outburst. One user wrote, "I don’t understand why Aaron was yelling at the girls. They obviously chose Hakeem since he wasn’t an OG boy so where the girls meant to dump JaNa?! Like shut up."
Another user chimed in, "I actually am giving the biggest side eye to Aaron now." One user further wrote, "The ick Aaron just gave me with the sobbing over the girls decision."
A fourth user said, "Aaron needs to calm down a little." One user also wrote, "Shut up Aaron lmao. The boys had it easy choosing Hakeem who nobody likes. Get off your high horse."
Another also wrote, "Aaron, sit down."
Who got eliminated in 'Love Island USA' Season 6?
After Coye Simmons and Hannah Smith were sent home last week, this week saw double elimination. On the Sunday episode, besides Andrea, Hakeem White was another contestant who was eliminated after a vote amongst the boys.
Who is still in the villa in 'Love Island USA' Season 6?
'Love Islanders' are left with five couples and two singles after a double blow on the most recent episode. The couples who continue to stay in the villa to further explore their love are Connor Newsum and Leah Kateb, Serena Page and Kordell Beckham, Miguel Harichi and Olivia "Liv" Walker, Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans, and Kendall Washington and Nicole Jacky.
While saving JaNa, the ladies eliminated Andrea. Rob was devastated and left alone, crying and wailing in front of his buddies.
Now on the June 24 episode, viewers will finally know if Rob will continue his journey on the Peacock show.
Aaron Evans became a deckhand after appearing in 'The Traitors UK'
Aaron was purportedly a property agent when he appeared in 'The Traitors UK' Season 1, but his employment has since changed. His popularity soared as a result of his performance on the hit BBC show and his stereotypically handsome features.
When he was presented on 'Love Island USA' Season 6, he downplayed his reality TV fame, but he did indicate that he was presently working as a deckhand on a boat.
