Louis Tomlinson’s ‘Live from London’: Date, when to watch, how to live stream and all you need to know about the virtual concert

The ‘Walls’ singer put out a clip from his London rehearsals as a preview of what’s to come in the ‘Live From London’ concert and fans can be sure to expect something magical

Louis Tomlinson is preparing for the whole new experience of virtual live concerts as he's getting his band and crew together on December 12 and to add to that, the former One Directioner will also be performing a brand new song from his upcoming album, the singer teased on Wednesday, December 9, through a tweet. The ‘Walls’ singer put out a clip from his London rehearsals as a preview of what’s to come in the ‘Live From London’ concert with the caption, “See you on Saturday!” and a user asked if the singer is teasing the opening of the event, to which Tomlinson replied, “New song. Not a cover!”

Earlier, Tomlinson opened up about the cancellation of tours in 2020 and the inspiration behind putting up a virtual show for the global audience. The proceeds from the live concert even will go to five charities which are close to the ‘Two of Us’ singer and the list includes helping out Tomlinson’s crew members who have been also affected by the cancellation of tours. Tomlinson, 28, told The Telegraph, “I’ve been incredibly worried about them and felt incredibly powerless, so wanted to give something back,” speaking of the root cause behind putting up the show. 

According to the booking site, apart from Louis’s touring crew, Louis will be supporting, FareShare, Crew Nation, Stagehand, and Blueball Wood Children’s Hospice. In a series of tweets, the singer showed his excitement and announced the event on November 24. "So excited to announce that I'm getting my band and crew together to put on a special show for you all that will be live streamed on December 12. The show will support 5 important causes very close to my heart. Tickets on sale tomorrow at 4pm GMT https://louis-tomlinson.com/live", he stated, followed by, "Really excited to get on stage again!"

The live show will also be available for a rewatching time-period and viewers who miss the show will also get a chance to get the tickets for rewatching the show revealed. From the date, time, to the ticketing process, here’s all you need to know about the show.

Date and Time

Louis Tomlinson Live From London will kick off this Saturday, December 12 at 8 pm GMT. The show can be rewatched until December 14 · 12 am GMT. 

Where to watch it

The tickets for the show are available right now. For the live streaming tickets, the booking window will close at 4 pm GMT / 8 am PT on December 12. After this time ticket sales will be closed to ensure the smooth running of the show. Tickets will be made available again on December 12 at 10 pm GMT / 2 pm PT for anyone who did not buy a ticket but would like to rewatch the show. Ticket sales will then close again on December 13 at 4 pm GMT / 8 am PT. The show will be allowed for rewatching for 28 hours after the live stream.

Concept 

The one-of-a-kind virtual concert will have Tomlinson’s band and crew reuniting to support great causes and Tomlinson is also expected to open with his new song from the next album.
