Michael Lockwood: Lisa Marie Presley's ex-husband files petition to represent daughters Harper and Finley in trust court hearing
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE: In an impending hearing for the singer's trust, Lisa Marie Presley's ex-husband Michael Lockwood is attempting to represent their twin daughters. The next hearing is scheduled for April 13.
The 61-year-old guitarist petitioned a judge earlier this week to designate him Harper and Finley's guardian ad litem, granting him the power to speak on their behalf, Page Six reported. Lisa Marie, the only child of legendary rockstar Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley died after suffering two back-to-back cardiac arrests on January 12 at the age of 54.

'It has been heartbreaking weeks for Riley and Priscilla'
Lisa Marie's late father's Graceland residence and 15% of the inheritance are reportedly included in the trust. The late star's children Riley Keough and Benjamin Keough were substituted for Priscilla Presley and her business manager Barry Siegel in the trust in a 2016 revision to her daughter's will. Since the death of her daughter, she fighting over the late singer's will and estate. A source told Entertainment Tonight: "It has been a very tense and heart-breaking few weeks for both Riley and Priscilla."
Presley shared Riley and Benjamin with her first husband Danny Keough who she was married to from 1988 to 1994. Before Presley died in January, she and Lockwood had been at odds ever since she requested a divorce from him in 2016 following a ten-year marriage. The following year, their daughters Harper and Finley ended up in state custody.
Subsequently, in 2018, Presley asked for primary custody of Harper and Finley. But, after Benjamin Keough committed suicide in 2020, Lockwood asked for custody out of concern that Presley would relapse in the wake of her son's death.

Priscilla argued that the signatures on Lisa Marie's will amendment appeared to be 'inconsistent.' As per the report which cited sources, Priscilla’s move was “strictly a money grab,” adding that the only daughter of rock icon Elvis Presley had “no relationship with Priscilla, her ex-husband Michael Lockwood or her half-brother Navarone Garibaldi.”

The sources, as per the report, added that Priscilla and Lisa Marie were not on good terms before her untimely death. “Lisa didn’t want to have anything to do with her mom,” a friend close to the 'Lights Out' singer alleged. “She was basically estranged from Priscilla for the last seven to eight years. They only talked when there was no option.”
