'That was always Riley': Lisa Marie wanted her daughter to carry on the family's legacy instead of her mother Priscilla Presley
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: The only child of legendary Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, trusted her daughter Riley to continue the family's legacy instead of her mother. Joel Weinshanker, a managing partner at Elvis Presley Enterprises of Graceland, shared the late singer's final wishes on Wednesday, February 1, the day when Lisa Marie would have turned 55.
Before her death, Joel claimed that Lisa Marie was quite certain and quite direct about who she wanted to have the legacy [left] to," he said as per Elvis Radio. "That was always Riley and Ben. There was never a question in her mind that they would be the stewards, that they would look at it exactly the way she did. Obviously, when Ben passed, it really sat with Riley."

Elvis left everything to his 'little girl'
"Everyone knew that when Elvis passed away, he left everything to his little girl. He did so knowing that she would be the one to keep his legacy going," Weinshanker said. "We got along so well because we were both trying to do what was best for Elvis, regardless of what somebody else was trying to do, regardless of what a family member would do," he said. "Lisa couldn't be bought, she couldn't be pushed. If she felt that something wasn't in Elvis' best interest, it was never be about money. And she really is the only Presley that you could say that about."
'They would look at it the same way she did'
