Lisa Marie Presley suffered SECOND cardiac arrest while brain dead after family signed 'DNR' order
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Lisa Marie Presley experienced a second cardiac arrest while hospitalized. She died after her family signed a "do not resuscitate" order, according to new information. The 54-year-old only child of Elvis Presley was discovered unresponsive at her Calabasas home by her staff on the morning of January 12 and was taken to the hospital.
Lisa Marie was revived by EMTs who arrived at her home, and she regained a pulse, but when they took her to the hospital, she was brain dead, according to TMZ. The family hurried to her bedside, where she was put on life support and in an induced coma. When they realized she was already brain dead, they signed a "do not resuscitate" order. After suffering a second cardiac arrest, she died. Priscilla, her 77-year-old mother, was beside her bedside.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us," Priscilla Presley said in a statement on the evening of January 12. "She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known," as per Daily Mail.
Lisa Marie lived with her first of four ex-husbands, Danny Keough, who came home immediately after she collapsed and gave her CPR until the paramedics arrived. Keough is the father of her daughter. Riley, 33 an actress, and Benjamin, a 27-year-old who committed suicide in July 2020. Harper Vivienne and Finlay Presley, who are 14 years old, are twin daughters of her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood.
Since the death of her son, Lisa Marie had been withdrawn but was seen in public more in recent times in part due to the popularity of the Baz Luhrmann biography 'Elvis', which she adored. Two days prior to her death, she attended the Golden Globes to celebrate Austin Butler winning Best Actor for playing the role of her father.
At her father's Memphis estate on January 8 to celebrate his 88th birthday, the singer-songwriter told the adoring gathering that they were the "only people who can drag me out of the house." At Graceland, Lisa Marie said, "It's been a while. I've missed you. I love you. I keep saying you are the only people who can bring me out of the house. I'm not kidding. I love you back and that's why I'm here. Today, he would have been 88 years old, it's hard to believe. I think that he would have been proud, I think this year's been an incredible year. I think the movie was incredible and I'm very proud of it, I hope you guys are too. It's just so moving how every year you come from all over the world and it's moving to me and my family, and thank you," as per Daily Mail.
Lisa Marie married musician Keough after meeting as a teenager in a drug rehab facility. They split up in 1994 in the Dominican Republic days before her wedding to Michael Jackson. After Jackson, in 2000, Lisa Marie was engaged to musician John Oszajca but broke off the engagement when she ran into actor Nicolas Cage at a party. After getting hitched to Cage in August 2002, she filed for divorce three months later. After that, Lisa Marie married guitarist Michael Lockwood in 2006 and had twins together, but after she allegedly claimed to have discovered hundreds of images of child pornography on his computer, they got divorced ten years later, as per the outlet.
