Since Linkin Park enjoys a massive fan base around the world, the announcement of the 20th edition super deluxe box set, of course, made their fans elated and emotional. One took to Twitter and said, “Linkin Park's album Hybrid Theory, 20 years later, is STILL a banger.” Another user posted, “My Linkin Park takes are misunderstood! I actually listen to their old stuff from time to time (Hybrid Theory, Meteora).” One fan added, “There are only a few albums where I don't skip a single song when I listen to them, and Hybrid Theory is one of them.” One follower stated, “The only thing I'm looking forward to in life currently is for my @linkinpark 20th anniversary hybrid theory box to come in the mail. Counting down the days.”

‘Hybrid Theory’ was released via Warner Bros Records and dealt with problems the late lead vocalist Chester Bennington faced during his adolescence, including drug abuse and the constant fighting and divorce of his parents. Four songs from the album namely, ‘One Step Closer’, ‘In the End’, ‘Crawling’ and ‘Papercut’ proved to be the biggest hits from the record which also catapulted Linkin Park into mainstream popularity.
