Lily-Rose Depp shows off her quirky style in sweats and edgy leather jacket during grocery run in LA
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lily-Rose Depp’s fashion forward looks have always been lauded by the critics, but her recent grocery run-look in Los Angeles proved that she could pull off street styles as well. The 23-year-old actress-model, who is the daughter of actor Johnny Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis, was recently spotted coming out of Erewhon with bags of expensive groceries, as she made her way back to a chauffeured black car on Friday, December 30.
Depp’s unique fashion comes as no surprise. She has been a brand ambassador for Chanel since 2015, when she was just 16. The young actress has pulled-off some memorable looks for the brand in the past few years and has also been a part of many of their launches, per Daily Mail.

Depp opted for a comfortable yet chic look as she had on a pastel blue sweater which she topped with an edgy leather jacket for a quirky look. She also wore a pair of oversized gray sweatpants and tawny Ugg boots.
Her hair was tied up in pink scrunchies and she layered her jacket masterfully with a dark blue scarf. And of course, true to her long-standing association with Chanel, the starlet had a pink Chanel purse slung over her shoulder along with her gold hoop earrings. She completed the look with sunglasses and a mask.
Depp was recently in the news for slamming all those who called her a product of nepotism. In an interview with Elle, she said, “The internet seems to care a lot about that kind of stuff. People are going to have preconceived ideas about you or how you got there, and I can definitely say that nothing is going to get you the part except for being right for the part.” The actress added, “The internet cares a lot more about who your family is than the people who are casting you in things. Maybe you get your foot in the door, but you still just have your foot in the door. There’s a lot of work that comes after that.”
“It’s weird to me to reduce somebody to the idea that they’re only there because it’s a generational thing. It just doesn’t make any sense. If somebody’s mom or dad is a doctor, and then the kid becomes a doctor, you’re not going to be like, ‘Well, you’re only a doctor because your parent is a doctor.’ It’s like, ‘No, I went to medical school and trained.’” She was quick to add that she was by no means comparing her own work to that of someone in the medical field. “I just hear it a lot more about women, and I don’t think that it’s a coincidencem" she concluded.
