Lil Reese slammed for saying ‘thought it was rat poison’ after 6ix9ine's overdose: ‘Sold 5K and talking s**t’
American rapper 6ix9ine, also stylized as Tekashi69, got hospitalized in Florida two days ago after overdosing on a combination of caffeine and a weight loss supplement. The Instagram page of the gossip site, The Shade Room, posted details of the recent incident where they revealed that the Brooklyn rapper started sweating profusely while sitting at his computer after he overdosed on the combination.
According to the Instagram post, the 24-year-old rapper told that in addition to drinking McDonald's coffee, he also took two Hydroxycut weight loss pills instead of the advised dose of one pill per day, which apparently triggered his overdose. The post reads, “Tekashi tells us that this, along with drinking a McDonald’s coffee, kicked his overdose reaction into gear. If you aren’t familiar, hydroxycut is a weight-loss brand chile!”
However, when his counterpart rapper Lil Reese got the news of the overdose incident, he had completely other things to say as he slammed 6ix9ine on the social media. The Chicago-based rapper took to his official Twitter account and posted, “I thought it was Rat poison” while re-tweeting a news article on the same incident.
The post made the Internet furious and they ended up slamming Lil Reese in the comments. The Shade Room’s Instagram post also mentions, “In addition, 69 tells us that he gained a lot of weight after he left prison. He’s currently down almost 25 lbs and plans to keep going until he’s at his goal weight of 150 lbs before he makes his return to the gram.”
It is also being reported 6ix9ine is doing fine at his home now after getting discharged from the hospital. The pop culture website Complex also reports that he lost 25 pounds, and is committed to reaching his goal weight.
