Two weeks after getting shot in a parking lot and nearly losing his eye, Lil Reese is again in the headlines but for all the wrong reasons. The Chicago native was arrested on May 29 over domestic battery after he reportedly brutally assaulted his girlfriend, as reported by TMZ.

The publication reported that the 28-year-old hip-hop artist was arrested from his home at 10.30 pm after cops received a call. TMZ also got hold of a police report which revealed that Reese’s girlfriend told the cops that they got into a heated argument that allegedly turned physical. Reese, however, later denied the allegations on Twitter after he was released. The ‘I Don’t Like’ hitmaker was also in news recently after his thirsty chats with Rubi Rose got leaked. He was also crucified on the internet after he made fun of rapper Tekashi 69 getting hospitalized after a critical overdose.

Lil Reese denies beating girlfriend

According to TMZ, cops revealed that Reese pulled her hair and struck her in the face with a closed fist. This apparent brutal assault caused her injuries which were visible to the responding officers. Reese was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery but was later released after posting a $10,000 bond. The rapper, whose real name is Tavares Lamont Taylor, then took to Twitter over the weekend to deny all the domestic violence allegations.

When a social media user asked about the same, he tweeted, “False information stop believing these blogs.” After a few hours, Reese again tweeted, “They wanna slander my name so bad but I ain’t going for it.” According to the official Instagram page of The Shade Room, Reese had shared another tweet, though it was not visible on his wall. It read, “Don’t believe half s**t you see on Internet all imam say like they said I was blind and got beat up. I was in a car-crash and a shout-out only thing that happen new interview otw…” In a later update, a rep for Reese reached out to TMZ and denied all the rumors concerned with the rapper beating his girlfriend. “That story is false, nobody was hit... the court narrative is based off someone saying Lil Reese was physical, but he was not.”

Who is Lil Reese’s girlfriend?

Lil Reese seems to be dating a woman identified as Kimani, as reported by the website Aussie Celebs. Like Reese, Kimani is also a native of Chicago and the two have been together for some time. Though the timeline of their relationship is not clear, she is often spotted doing live videos on Instagram.

According to the website Hot New Hip Hop, she had recently given an update on Reese’s health when he was shot after a gunfight in a parking garage took place on the Near North Side over a stolen car. She goes with the user name @kimoneeyyy_ on Instagram and Twitter. Kimani also posted a tweet most recently which hints towards the domestic violence case. She stated, “Honestly don’t care to go back n forth nor explain shit to nun of y’all ass. Please suck my d**k.
