Is Lil Duval OK? Video shows comedian strapped to gurney after car at 'full speed' rams his ATV
Roland Powell, better known as comedian Lil Duval, was hospitalized on July 26 evening after a car ran into him while driving his all-terrain vehicle in the Bahamas. He was involved in a crash that resulted in a broken hip and minor injuries and was immediately flown to the Bahamas capital for treatment.
"Somebody hit me in they car while I was on my 4-wheeler," Duval on Tuesday posted an Instagram video of himself tied to a gurney as he's carried onto an ambulance with gauze bandages on his forehead and body. He wrote in his post, "Now my leg broke and I gotta get flown over to Nassau and have surgery."

In another post, he posted on Twitter updating his condition to his fans that he is in pain and unable to reply to calls and messages. He captioned the post on Instagram, "Broke my hip not my leg and that’s even worse 😫 but I’m still chillin tho can’t nothing steal my joy." Snoop Dogg responded on his Instagram post, "Damn cuz u good?
I appreciate everybody checking up on me but if you call and i don’t pick up don’t take it the wrong way. I’m really fuk up and can’t move cuz I’m in so much pain

Duval's representative also issued a statement to TMZ. "Lil Duval was involved in a traffic accident where a motor vehicle ran into him while riding a 4-wheeler, this collision resulted in a broken hip and minor injuries. He is in stable condition and is currently being evacuated from Nassau to Jacksonville, FL, to be treated at a local hospital with the capability and equipment to do the required surgical treatments for recovery."
On Twitter, Duval updated about his condition and wrote, "I ain’t got no internal bleeding the doctor said that amazing being that I got hit by a car going full speed." Fans expressed their love and relief as Duval stays strong. A user wrote, "I’m glad you can type and are coherent. Praying for a speedy recovery bruh." Another wrote, "Thank God!"

Many fans and friends including Ludricas and Jamie Foxx hoped for Duval's speedy recovery. They commented on his Instagram post wishing him good health. Ludacris commented: "Get Well My Guy." "Praying for you champ…Get well immediately," Jamie Foxx said. XZIBIT commented, "Aw man. Pls be well." "Dam bro i hope you good," rapper 2chainz wrote. TI responded: Maaaaaan I'm gon pray that you get well first. Then find it in yo heart to sitcho old ass down somewhere & rest big bro." Amen 🙏🏽 "Damn Bruh!!!!! Many Blessings over you and everybody who glowing thru. I love y’all," Anthony Hamilton wrote.
From 2013 to 2014, Duval hosted MTV2's 'Ain’t That America', and he has been on other MTV shows such as 'Wild ’N Out', 'Guy Code' and 'Hip Hop Squares'. Duval has a thriving rap career aside from comedy. His 2018 single, 'Smile (Living My Best Life)', was charted at No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
