'Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood' fans not buying Micky Munday and Slick Woods' relationship
Supermodel Slick Woods finally made her much-awaited appearance on VH1's 'Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood' on Monday night's episode which aired on September 2. The previous episode introduced us to one of Akon's wives Tricia Ana, and we witnessed her awkward encounter with upcoming rapper Micky Munday.
While Tricia tried making advances at Micky, he kept downplaying it saying that he was in a happy relationship with Fenty Beauty's model Slick Woods. Tricia didn’t appear to approve of Slick for Micky. This week, we finally saw Micky with girlfriend Slick. They two seemed all lovey-dovey, riding bicycles together, gazing into each other’s eyes, and indulging in a load of romantic stuff.
He then goes on to list out his girlfriend’s impressive CV, by stating how at just 22, she has modeled for the top brands, walked on all the major runways, and is the face of Fenty beauty, It is endearing to have a supportive partner who is appreciative of your career, but something didn't sit quite right with the way Micky was describing his girl's career.
This isn't the first time that the aspiring rapper equated Slick to her successful career. In the previous episode, while he was out with his boys, he started talking about Slick and how she was independent and had enough money to pay her own bills, and even support him if need be. This immediately began raising red flags in fans' minds about Micky's intentions with Slick.
Just like Tricia, fans too aren’t supportive of Micky's relationship with Slick, although the reasons differ. While Tricia point blankly states that Slick isn't his type, fans feel that Micky's reason for dating Slick could be for other ulterior motives.
A fan wrote, "I like Micky Mundy but the fact he keeps bringing up Slick's career in a boastful way kinda comes off as he's just with her for a come up because she has the connections in the industry idk he’s giving me social climber vibes #LHHH".
Fans believe that Micky is being an opportunist and using Slick for expanding his career. A fan tweeted, "See if Micky Munday is escorting Slick to all her high profile events with all of Rihanna’s connects in the house then that's an OPPORTUNITY for HIM to be seen, network, and make connections off of Slick’s hard work. So again, using someone black for a come up. #LHHH #Opportunist".
Fans strongly feel that Slick should stay away from Micky because they fear that Micky’s intentions aren’t good. A fan wrote, "I hope Slick Woods wakes up and sees that’s she’s better off without Micky Munday. I can almost guarantee she spending hella bread on him. He ain’t got shit going on. #LHHH".
