Is Latto OK? Rapper apologizes for not promoting 'The Biggest', sick trolls say she underwent another surgery

Latto revealed she was in the ER due to a health scare which did not allow her to promote her new single ‘The Biggest’ properly

Rapper Mulatto who has now changed her stage name to Latto, dropped a brand new single under her new moniker called ‘The Biggest’ along with stunning visuals. The young female emcee addressed her name change in the track which she has been hinting about for months. She raps, “It contradicted what I stand for/The backlash ain’t what I planned for.” She also raps, “Misunderstood so I made it official.”

The track, however, was not promoted properly by the 22-year-old rapper for which she apologized to her fans while sharing a post on her official Twitter account. The ‘Muwop’ hitmaker revealed that she was in the ER due to a health scare which did not allow her to promote her new single properly. Internet, as well all know, can wrongly interpret things, took the Twitter apology in a different direction saying she must have gone under surgery.

Is Latto okay?

Giving an update on why she could not promote her new single ‘The Biggest’, the Atlanta native revealed that she was in the ER and thanked her fans for hearing out and accepting her apology. “Y’all don’t even know I been in the ER & wasn’t able to promote “The Biggest” myself but I’m feeling better & seeing all the support feels amazing. Thanks for hearing me out and accepting my apology!” However, one social media user accused the female emcee of going under the knife to which Latto reverted with a prompt reply that she was always open about her surgeries, “I actually was in the ER for a serious health scare.. I’m open about my surgeries this had nothing to do w that.”

Speaking about her body image and going under the knife, Latto had earlier spoken in an interview to TwoBees, saying, “They always ask me all types of ‘did you get this done?’ I will say this, I will never be the type of person who would be super inviting because I feel like I don’t owe anyone anything when it comes to my personal life. But no girl, it’s all-natural,”

‘She’s never even lied about surgery’

While many social media users enjoyed Latto’s new single ‘The Biggest’, a few focused on her health scare while also discussing the possibility of her going under the knife. While making fun of her health scare, one user dragged singer Olivia Rodrigo and tweeted, “Olivia broke her ears thats why she was in the ER.” Talking about the surgery, one posted, “Her body her choice!!!! Period!!!!!”
 
Another got worried about Latto’s health and shared, “Get well soon Latto and thank you for speaking on your health that gives lots of those is the struggle STRENGTH.” The next one spoke on the same lines and said, ““Aw Latto get well soon, you don’t have to apologize babe. We love you so so much!”  One added, “Apology is always expected plus happy u good and all is well.” The next one spoke about Latto going under the knife, “She’s never even lied about surgery so idk where y’all got this from.” Echoing similar sentiments, one furious user concluded, “People are so f**kin weird yo like yal going to make her have surgery during this incident? Not “hope all is well” but this smdh.”
