Rizzo took her followers back to Valentine's Day 2021, where the couple was seen making crab cakes together on a holiday, enjoying and celebrating their love for each other and for food. "Bob always thought it was kind of a silly holiday, but still always sent me the most gorgeous roses you've ever seen," she wrote on her Instagram Story.
"We're celebrating Valentine's Day today," Rizzo can be seen saying in the TikTok footage. "Well, she is," Saget responds.
Saget is survived by his wife Kelly Rizzo and his three daughters which he had with ex-wife Sherri Kramer — Aubrey, 34, Lara, 32, and Jennifer, 29.
Rizzo also posted a throwback video on the one-month anniversary of Saget’s death on her Instagram, she wrote, "One month without this incredible man. Bob truly lived life to its fullest. He had so many hardships over the years that he would always tell me 'look, life is hard, we need to enjoy it as much as possible'."
She added, "And one of the best ways we did that together was sharing and exploring amazing food around the world. We were in our happy place together whenever we were out at a restaurant, hotel lobby bar, or even our own kitchen when I would try out a new creation on him."
Rizzo added, "He was never shy about ordering, and he would even tell you to get everything on the menu that you wanted because he also wanted to see you enjoy everything to the fullest. Experiencing simple pleasures in life like that brought him so much joy. I can’t even put into words how much I will miss this."
The police authorities said in the autopsy reports that Saget accidentally hit the back of his head after falling backward and then went to sleep which caused him “blunt head trauma”.
