Was Bob Saget murdered with a baseball bat? Multiple skull fractures spark rumors
Bob Saget's official autopsy report determined his cause of death to be "blunt head trauma" that resulted in multiple fractures to the skull and hemorrhaging in the brain. The result appeared to contradict a statement released by the comedian's family saying he died from head trauma.
His family wrote that the 65-year-old actor and comedian had "passed from head trauma" on January 9 and concluded that he "accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep." However, according to the report released Friday, February 11, Saget's injuries were far more severe than a mere "slip and fall" accident. Moreover, he was also Covid-positive at the time of his death, the autopsy has revealed.

While there were no signs of chronic or acute inflammation in his system from Covid, it was the serious "set of injuries" on his skull that is raising a lot of questions. While the autopsy results sparked shocking theories on the internet, fans are now worried if there was any sinister motive behind his death. Many fans even went to the extent of speculating if his death was accidental or a homicide.
"The way doctors are describing the injuries in the report is like he was most likely hit over the head several times, but sure it's *possible* he had one of the worst falls ever. #BobSaget," a fan tweeted.
Another user noted, "With the new information on Bob Saget’s death one wonders how threatened and by whom the forensic doctor was when specialists are saying one fall in the ground from a ground floor can not account for the extreme evidence of trauma in other words who killed Bob Saget? Everyone."
In fact, ESPN host Porter Larsen went to the extent of claiming, "They staged this “super bowl” game to distract us from the suspicious nature of Bob Saget’s death."
Another user tweeted, "Head injury that killed Bob Saget was catastrophic, autopsy report reveals multiple head fractures. Perhaps some one did do this to him, how can you possibly do so much damage by falling? maybe you can but never heard of this extend, knocked out maybe but this?"
"This is something I find with someone with a baseball bat to the head, or who has fallen from 20 or 30 feet.” "This is not a "slip & fall". This is not a minor concussion. This is MAJOR head trauma," emergency physician and researcher Dr. Megan Ranney tweeted while sharing the autopsy report.
