Is Larray’s ‘Canceled’ the funniest diss track ever? BTS and Blackpink fans go gaga over TikTok star's song

At a time when the Internet doesn’t think twice to “cancel” anyone who is in the news, social media personality Larray has dropped a new diss track called ‘Canceled’. Diss tracks first originated from hip-hop but only got into pop culture a few years ago. The 22-year-old content creator’s diss track slams people in a funny way who were in the news recently including BTS, Tory Lanez, Nessa Barrett and Josh Richard among others.

Larray took to his official Twitter account and posted, “since i have all the clout right now stan bts & Blackpink.”

The lyrics of the song go, “Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, / Can we change the beat?, This ain't a race but I still take first place/ This ain't a race but I (but I, but I..), This ain't a race/ Tony Lopez caught a case, Nessa sharted all up on on Josh's face,  Pretty b****h, itty bitty tiny waist (Mwa), Don't want this smoke but Charli had that vape”

Luck shone on Larray as the Internet loved the brand new song. A lot of social media users could not help but talk about how “dope” the diss track was and also dubbed it as the funniest diss track ever. One user said, “one of the funniest diss track’s I’ve ever heard and seen go watch it @larrayxo” Another said, “THE WAY HE CAME FOR EVERYONE'S NECK AND LEFT NO CRUMBS.”

Sharing a funny GIF, a user stated, “You have to watch it’s so fire.” One user posted, “just saw bts get mentioned in a new song larray - canceled in a really positive way and it was really encouraging. i eat up local validation. the song slaps too so go check it out.” One individual said, “THIS IS THE BEST DISS TRACK I’VE HEARD SINCE THE LOGAN VS JAKE ONES OMG @larrayxo (I’d love that ft or merch thooo) PLEASEEE.”

Another user who loved the song said, “I’m not going to lie but Larray - Canceled song is actually good I’m obsessed with the song and the part when he said “don’t want this smoke but Charli had a vape” was GOOD.” One Blackpink fan tweeted, “No one: Literally no one: @larrayxo 2 hour ago : let's make a diss track on everyone Larry now be like: since I have the CLOUT STAN BTS & BLACKPINK.”



 



 



 



 



 



 



 

Larray, whose real name is Lawrence Merrit, first became popular through his content on Vine before he gradually moved to YouTube, Tik-Tok and other social media platforms to promote his comedic video content. Apart from his new song ‘Canceled’, the YouTuber has also dropped other songs like ‘Thanos’, ‘First Place’, and ‘Latina’ among a few others. He has more than six million followers on YouTube and over 12 million followers on Tik-Tok. Larray was also nominated at Streamy Awards in 2019 in the ‘Breakout Creator’ category.
