Concept
The album artwork for ‘Disco’ features a resplendent-looking Kylie giving all the disco vibes in her 70’s glam avatar. The singer can be seen oozing confidence and attitude with the help of her blue eyeshadows and loads of shimmer. According to the music website Genius, Kylie had earlier described her new album to GQ as a “grown-up disco” sound, saying: “Even grown-ups need some pure pop fun.” She continued, “I loved disco as an eight-year-old, so it’s been a long love affair. I’m loving the modern interpretations of the genre now. There’s a lot of early 2000s love around at the moment. Both feel like good times for me, so I’m channelling that into this record.”
